EVENT TIMES 2015 ADGP EVENT 1 Event start times are APPROXIMATE ONLY and DIVING AUSTRALIA reserves the right to change the program or combine events depending on number of entries. Events will proceed without delay if competition is running ahead of published schedule. Athlete march on and introductions will be approximately 20 minutes prior to event start time, immediately following the end of the previous event. The break between events will comprise of a warm up and possible athlete introduction. No athletes are to be on the boards during the athlete introduction. TRAINING TIMES will be available and open to all athletes competing in the event at the times published in the schedule of events. Please note that the training times listed for Thursday & Friday are for VIS & National Squad Athletes ONLY. Diving Australia would like to thank the VIS for allowing DA National Squad Athletes to share their training time in preparation for 2016 World Cup Trials. DRYLAND TRAINING A mini dryland / stretching area will be available at the top of the spectator stands: No food and drink (except water) Train in a safe way to promote diving skills and respect all equipment Dryland equipment may only be used during training times (not during competition) No athletes are allowed on the dryland equipment unless under the direct supervision of an accredited coach Mat area for stretching only during competition. INFORMATION DISPLAY POINT (IDP) An Information Display Point (IDP) will be at the entrance at the dive pool end of the spectator stands. Information concerning the competition will be displayed. Event fields and results will be posted here for the benefit of participants and spectators. ACCREDITATION PASSES Accreditation passes for athletes, coaches, judges and volunteers can be collected from Jodie Gillam in the Competition Office from Friday morning. These passes are to be used to gain entry to the complex and access to the diving pool for training and competition from Saturday, 5 December to Tuesday, 8 December. National Squad athletes who are training on Thursday 3 & Friday 4 will need to check in at reception. TICKETING for SPECTATORS There is no charge for spectators to watch this event, however, MSAC may charge a pool entry fee upon entering the venue. 3

2015 ADGP EVENT 1 DIVE SHEETS Diving Australia use Dive Recorder for all Diving Australia Events. Please go to www.diving.asn.au to complete an On-line DiveSheet. Please ensure that you: enter the correct name of the Competition, ie ADGP Event 1/World cup Trials enter your full State name (e.g. New South Wales, Queensland, etc) for Team Name enter a two or three letter acronym in capitals for your State name (e.g. NSW, QLD, etc) for Team Code. DO NOT Enter a second team (Team 2) or Team 2 code. enter the correct dive number, shape and board height for the dive by using the tab key to move between data fields within the on-line dive sheet. leave the web browser page open after submission until you receive a confirmation that the dive sheet has been accepted. Ensure you have entered your e-mail address correctly. If you feel that you submitted your sheet correctly, but you do not receive an email confirmation from Dive Recorder, you may send an email to jgillam@diving.asn.au for verification. Dive sheets will be required by 9:00am the day before your event, ie sheets for Sunday by 9:00am on Saturday, and sheets for Monday, by 9:00am on Sunday, etc. Changes may be made to your sheet by submitting a new sheet to Dive Recorder prior to the sheet deadline. You do NOT need to submit a new sheet for all events, just the event with the changes. There will be facilities and set times for sheet lodgement and last minute changes. A computer will be available in the Competition Office for accepting dive sheets up to 9:00am the day before your event. Complete ONE dive sheet per event. Lodgment times for dive sheets will be enforced. Early lodgment of dive sheets is always appreciated. Once all dive sheets have been received A mini dive list with signature panel will be displayed at the Athletes Sports Desk for athletes and coaches to view between 10:00am and noon on the day before the competition. It is not compulsory to sign to confirm, but the option is provided. Any discrepancies must be verified by original lodgment proof or in consultation with and approval from the event Referee. Sheets will be accepted as correct from 12 noon whether confirmed by signature or not. New lists for semi-finals and finals may be changed within 30 minutes of the completion of the preliminary or the semi-final. Please notify the event Referee if you intend to do this. WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE An official withdrawal form will be available at the Sports Desk near the Marshalling Area. This form must be completed and signed by the athlete or coach and handed to the event Referee or taken to the Competition Administration Office. Early receipt of withdrawals is always appreciated. TEAM LEADERS MEETING A Team Leaders Meeting will be held at 2.30pm on Friday 4 December, at the Aquatic Centre. The Team Leaders Meeting will provide Team Managers, Coaches and Officials with the most current and up to date information on the competition. Team Managers are required to confirm the entries of their athletes at this meeting. All States / Institutes / teams should be represented at this meeting and it is essential that this information is passed on to all competing athletes and other relevant parties. 4

TECHNICAL OFFICIALS 2015 ADGP EVENT 1 Referees and Judges are asked to wear navy shorts / skirt / pants (NO denim) and predominately white, closed footwear while officiating. All officials are required to wear the official polo shirt while officiating. Officiating panels will be published daily and posted for viewing from the Competition Administration Office window and athletes area. Any Technical Official unable to fulfill any of their rostered duties is asked to notify the Referee of the event. All judges are requested to report to the Referee of the event 15 minutes prior to the start of the event they are judging in. VOLUNTEER WORKFORCE All volunteers and recording secretaries are asked to wear navy shorts / skirt / pants (NO denim) and predominately white, closed footwear while officiating. All volunteers and recording secretaries are required to wear the official polo shirt while officiating. Recording staff are requested to report to the recording table 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Any recording secretary not able to fulfill a rostered duty is asked to notify Competition Manager Jodie Gillam 0414 964 062 COMPETITION CONDITIONS A preliminary, semi-final and final competition will be held for the 3 Metre and Platform individual events. A final only competition will be held for the 3 Metre and Platform and Mixed synchronised events. EACH COMPETITION WILL BE A SEPARATE EVENT, EACH STARTING FROM ZERO (0) POINTS. The top eighteen (18) divers from the Preliminary round of the individual 3 Metre and Platform events irrespective of country will proceed to the Semi-Final. The top twelve (12) from the Semi-Final of the individual 3 Metre and Platform events irrespective of country will proceed to the Final. In the platform event all dives must be performed off the 10 Metre platform to be eligible for selection in any team or squad. FINA Degree of Difficulty criteria will apply to all events. PRE COMPETITION PROCEDURES Marshalling of Athletes & Athlete March-on Athletes are asked to assemble in the Marshalling area for introductions for all preliminary and final events. o Please report to the marshal during the last round of the event before yours, to be ready to march-on immediately it concludes. When the event is announced, athletes will march onto the pool deck. The announcer will introduce each athlete individually. The athletes will then march off, and the warm-up for their event will commence. Athletes in the first event of the day will be called to marshal during the general training session and will be marched on and introduced immediately following the morning general training session. They will then commence their event warm up. No towels or chamois are to be worn for introductions or ceremonies. Full shoe is not compulsory; flip flops will be satisfactory. 5

2015 ADGP EVENT 1 COMPETITION PROCEDURES Only athletes, coaches, judges and personnel involved in the current event are permitted on pool deck. Athletes and coaches participating in the competition are requested to use the seating / areas provided. Those not involved in the event MUST sit in the stands. DOPING CONTROL The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) may be conducting drug testing during this event. RESULTS At the completion of each event, the results will be posted on the IDP notice board. Results may be accessed electronically from both the DA and Diverecorder websites. TEAM/SQUAD SELECTION Based on performances at the 2015 ADGP Event 1 & 2016 World Cup Trials squads and teams will be selected for the following: o 2016 National Squad o 2016 World Cup Team FOR SELECTION IN THE WORLD CUP TEAM THE POINTS FROM THE PRELIMINARY, SEMI-FINAL AND FINAL WILL BE ADDED TOGETHER FOR THE 3 METRE AND PLATFORM EVENTS. REFRESHMENTS Refreshments will be available for officials, coaches and event volunteers. PARKING Cars MSAC has two car parks with a total of 500 spaces for members and patrons use. Both carparks are user pays so please ensure you are aware of Terms and Conditions of parking at MSAC, which are clearly displayed at all entrances to car parks Buses (12+ seats) Please note that buses are not permitted to park or drop off passengers in MSAC car parks. There are allocated bus zones on Aughtie Drive for this purpose.
