Growth & Retention Raising Standards Better Players Running The Game...to grow and retain participation Retain 30,355 adult male 11-a-side teams and grow to 30,550 teams Retain 1,437 adult female 11-a side teams and grow to 1,500 teams Grow adult football by 150,000 new participants playing football once a week Increase male and female disability teams to 1,264 and 238 teams respectively Increase adult small-sided teams from 28,370 to 30,000 (5.75% increase) Retain and grow minisoccer, male and female youth teams Retain 30,500 Intra and Inter-school teams Further develop Intramural College and University football retain 1,100 16 19 College teams and grow 5,340 new teams; retain 1000 university teams and grow 3,000 new teams....to raise standards and address abusive behaviour Increase the percentage of mini-soccer and youth teams in FA Charter Standard Clubs from 74% to 80% Increase the number of FA Charter Standard Community Clubs from 536 to 650 30% of all adult and youth teams to be playing in an FA Charter Standard League An increase in people who think that the Respect Programme has improved their football experience from 56% to 65%....to develop better young players Increase the number of player opportunities within The FA Tesco Skills programme from 2,669,339 to 5,502,238 80% of youth teams with an FA qualified coach. Workforce...skilled and diverse paid and volunteer workforce Increase the number of registered and active male and female referees to 28,200 (27,200 male referees and 1,000 female referees)....to run the game effectively Increase the public s perception that County FAs are successfully developing grassroots football from 67% to 75% Increase the public s perception that The FA are successfully developing grassroots football from 70% to 75%. Facilities...build, protect and enhance sustainable football facilities to improve the experience of the nations favourite game 150 million invested into facilities.

Introduction This WSP submission is directly aligned with The delivery and priorities within our National Game Strategy. Sport England funding will be invested in programmes and interventions which will directly deliver against our identified key priorities. The FA is requesting funding to support delivery in the following four areas of our National Game Strategy: Children and Young People (CYP) Growth Raising Standards Better Players (Talent) Disability and Female
