OPTIONAL GRATUITIES FOR BAG ROOM & DRIVING RANGE ATTENDANTS Bag Room/Driving Range attendants are compensated and are not dependant on tips for their wages. It is the member s responsibility to have a full understanding of these rules. The lifeguard has the final say as to the

opening or closing of the pool. All comments, complaints, or suggestions should be directed to the general manager or board of directors, and under no circumstances shall a member reprimand any employee of the club. 1) Management reserves the right to close the swimming pool at any time when, in their opinion, it is hazardous for swimmers to enter the pool. 2) The pool is considered closed if no lifeguard is on duty. 3) Admittance will be refused to persons having any physical condition which may be considered communicable or which may be harmful or offensive to others. 4) All members must register their guests with the lifeguard on duty and must pay guest fees in accordance with the schedule in effect. Failure to register a guest may result in suspension from the pool. 5) All members must follow all the current rules as posted in or around the pool house. 6) All members are directly responsible for the behavior of their children and guests and to see that all rules are adhered to. 7) The club does not assume the responsibility for theft or damage to personal property. 8) Children under eight (8) years of age will not be permitted in the pool unless supervised by a competent chaperone no less than 18 years of age. 9) Only one person at a time will be allowed on the diving board. All dives are to be executed from the front edge of the board. 10) Non-member babysitters are required to pay a guest fee on a daily basis. 11) Floats are restricted to the shallow end of the big pool and are also allowed in toddler pool. 12) All children wearing swimmies or still in the learning stages of swimming are the direct responsibility of parents or chaperones. All food and beverage consumed on club premises must be purchased from a club outlet. Coolers, picnic baskets, Big Gulps, etc. may not be brought into or around the pool area. Radios and tape players are permitted, but will be strictly monitored. Headphones are strongly encouraged. Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the pool area.

Due to the significant number of cryptosporidium cases occurring throughout the state and the mandates made by the Salt Lake County Health Department, please note the following: Pre-swim showers will be required of all swimmers and will be carefully monitored. Please, cooperate fully with this rule, keeping in mind that it is a necessity, not a nuisance. Children up to the age of three or anyone in diapers will have to wear both waterproof swim diapers AND a plastic overpant over the swim diapers. Anyone who has experienced diarrhea within two weeks is prohibited from entering the swimming pool. Obviously, this must be self monitored, but please do so for the safety of all. With the above in mind, the board of directors has mandated that any members found not to be in compliance will lose their pool privileges immediately and will be required to explain their actions, in person, to the board of directors. Also, please note that should any fecal matter be found in the swimming pool, county-mandated procedures require us to close the pool until hyperchlorination is complete. NON-MEMBER ACCESS The non-qualified dependants (24 years of age and older) of a member may not use the pool facility, unless in the company of the member. The daily pool charge will apply. (Applications for social membership are available on the web site or in the business office.) Members grandchildren and great-grandchildren, under the age of 24, when in the company of the grandparent or great-grandparent, have unlimited access to the pool and do not have to pay a guest fee. (These rights do not extend to other club facilities.) The parents of members, when with the member, shall have unlimited access to the pool, without the payment of guest fees.
