TOURNAMENT SNAPSHOT A 72-hole stroke play PGA TOUR championship competition as part of the season-long FedExCup competition! Dates & Host Site: March 18-24, 2019 4 th event in the Florida swing Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort (Copperhead Course), Palm Harbor, Florida Field: 144 PGA TOUR professionals History: Originally the mixed team event featuring professionals from the LPGA and PGA TOURs, the event began in 1977 and moved to its current home of Innisbrook in 2000, when the tournament became an official PGA TOUR event. Host Organization: Copperhead Charities, a 501c3 consisting of 160+ area business and civic leaders throughout Tampa Bay, known as the Copperheads and the CopperMugs. Charity & Economic Impact: Since 1977, more than $41 million has been generated for over 100 area charities, including main tournament charities, Habitat for Humanity and The First Tee. The tournament generates an annual Economic economic impact of over $50 million. Television: The four-day tournament has 15+ live and 55+ hours of total coverage from our broadcast partners at NBC and Golf Channel and is distributed to more than 225 countries.
