Napoleon s Army is trying to retire from Moscow.. 1 MAP: The Malo-Jaroslavets Battlefield. MAP NOTES: 1.1. All the buildings have a +1 combat modifier and the church has a +3 combat modifier. Russian fieldworks give only light cover and protection from cavalry 1.2. The plateau is accessible to cavalry and artillery only via the road. West of the town (columns 1-3) infantry may scale the hill as (x3) rough terrain. The plateau is not accessible east of the town (columns 4-5). 1.3. Fords may be found west of the bridge (columns 1-3). Otherwise, units may cross only by the bridge 1.4. The French se-tup first.
