Junior School Sport As we are heading to the end of term, stay tuned as our new Winter Sport training sessions will begin in Term Two to get our girls ready for upcoming PC and JIGSSA events. Well done to those girls who enjoyed our coaching clinics this Term in Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball, Fitness Fun and Basketball. Week 10 will be your last session in these activities. See you next Term for our Winter Sports.
Week 10 What s happening? Al our girls from Years 3 6 are thoroughly enjoying learning the new skills and choreographing their own routines in Synchronised Swimming in PE lessons. Our year 6s are also privileged to have Italian Water Polo experts giving them coaching sessions during lessons which we are thrilled about. Fitness Fun will also be a Water Polo session this week so head to the PC pool to watch our girls in action.
JIGSSA Twilight Swim Meet Carnival Well done to our small, very select group of swimmers at the JIGSSA swim carnival. The level of competition was outstanding and we had many of our girls swim PB s on the night. PC finished 8th on the night overall, but a huge effort by our Year 6s finishing 5th in their Year group pennant an amazing result against elite competition. Thank you to all our girls who came and trained at the PC pool in the mornings, I m very proud of you all as you all improved so much over the last eight weeks. For those who have enjoyed swim training please remember you can join the Perth City Swim Club that runs out of the PC pool. Please call John Fielding at the pool office if this interests you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE As the safety and care of our girls here at PC is of the utmost importance we would like to let you know of procedures in regards to picking your daughter/s up from afterschool sporting activities. If you are more than 10 minutes late collecting your daughter girls in Year 3 will be taken to Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) by a staff member and girls in Years 4 6 will be taken to Homework Club in the Junior School. There will be a cost incurred for both of these options. This is to save confusion and worry on your behalf if you are ever late or get held up and so all parents and staff know where students will be at any given time.
