"Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world today. It will soon overtake the drug industry! This week the Freedom Movement club is having activities every day during STEP to bring awareness of how horrible human trafficking is.
Today, in room c101 we will be showing clips from a documentary called 'Nefarious' which shows how human trafficking is different through the world. We will also show clips from "A Single Seed", a documentary about The Samaritan Women, a rehab home for victims. Everyone is invited!"
Attention all students; The MVA will be offering the Maryland Learners Permit test on Saturday, April 23 rd at 12:00 noon. If you are age eligible and would like to participate in the testing process, here at Watkins Mill High School, stop by the main office for your permission slip. All permission slips are due back no later than April 20 th. Don t hesitate, this is the last opportunity for this school year.

Juniors: Attend the College Fair with Watkins Mill on April 19 th. This is a free fieldtrip to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Hundreds of colleges will be there to talk with you about academic programs, scholarships, student life and more. Stop by the College/Career Center to pick up a permission slip.
Juniors: Friday, April 15, is the deadline to turn in your permission slip if you d like to attend the College Fair with Watkins Mill.
