The NAYBC Bowlers Club 2018 / 2019 Scratch Singles BTBA TOUR EVENT Open to all bowlers under 22 as at 31st August 2019 Sundays Round 1 - November 4th 2018 Round 2 - February 17th 2019 Round 3 April 28th 2019 Final Sunday June 9th 2019 Please be aware before, during and after the event there could be filming, action photography or video taken of participants and medal winners by anyone attending the event, either as an official spectator,parent or guardian. If you (as a participant, parent or guardian) object to this, you must make your objections known to the tournamnt manager prior to the event starting and reasonable adjustments will be made. Mansfield Superbowl Following a decision by the BTBA Executive, Freefall and String averages will both be accepted without differentation for all handicap tournamanets as from 1st August 2019. They will be subject to the usual lane certification process. Mansfield Superbowl. NAYBC Bowlers Club Rules And Conditions 1. 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 This is a BTBA tour event and will be sanctioned by the BTBA their rules will govern the event along with the following special rules and conditions. This will be a scratch tournament throughout with bowlers being split into four average groups: Div A: 171 and above, Div B: 141 to 170, Div C: 111 to 140, Div D: 110 and below Entrants must declare their highest average in any league, tournament or merit table over 21 gms on the day of bowling. YBC officials must submit a current league standing sheet seven days prior to bowling. The tournament manager, Brian Parker, reserves the right to refuse or rerate any entry if he considers there is just cause to do so. Protests must be lodged by the YBC official / bowler within 30mins and confirmed in writing within 72hrs or before the presentation. A provisional ball must be rolled if a dispute relating to pinfall cannot be resolved immediately. The tournament managers decision is final subject to appeal to to the BTBA No competitor will be allowed to smoke or consume alcohol anywhere in the centre during the tournament. Any breach of this rule will result in immediate disqualification of the individual concerned. Profane Language, improper gestures or abuse of bowling equipment / machinery may also result in disqualification Any disqualification may result in loss of scores / awards. Any bowler whose conduct is likely to bring the sport into disrepute will also be disqualified. Any individual disqualified will be reported to the BTBA for consideration of disciplinary proceedings. Competitors who are not dressed in correct bowling attire in the bowlers area will not be permitted to bowl Shirts should contain YBC / Bowlers name. Mobile phones should be turned off and not taken into bowling area. Only tournament officials, Players and one Licensed instructor / coach per bowler will be allowed in the playing area. YBC officials, instructors and coaches must adhere to the dress code laid down in the tournament rules. Closing date for entries will be the Friday before each round. Entry Fees must be included with entry form no exception. No entry fees will be refunded after squadiing Except in the case of cancellation of the tournament. The Membership of the club will be 5.00 There will be no day membership. The tournament entry will be 38.00 per person per round of which at least 11.00 will pe prize fund 2.50 masters fund, 6.00 Expenses (incl Jnr team England 3.00). Bowlers who pay 115 for all three rounds in advance wll receive a discount as this will include membership. Squad Times Sundays 9.00 and 12.30 Registration 08.15 and 11.30
Format Stage 1: All bowlers will bowl 6 games Stage 2: The first cut will be approximately 50% of entrants in each division.the cut will take into account using an even number of lanes. These bowlers will play an extra two games Entry Form Stage 3: the top four/three bowlers in each section will play a stepladder final/ knock out/low man drop different final in each round. Note: Should any cut in any division after the first 6 result in less than 8 bowlers no further cuts will be made. The division will cut straight to final. points will be awarded in each round according to the finishing position in that division based on the position after first six games. 1st 1 point 2nd 2pts etc. All bowlers will qualify for the masters provided they have participated in at least two of the three rounds. "Please Note" This btba tour event is open to all Junior bowlers under 22 at 31st August 2018 with a btba membership card. Btba tour points will be awarded based on NAYBC guidelines. Club membership fee 5.00 Entry fee will be 38.00. Of Which a minnimum of 10.50 will be prize fund, 2.00 will be Masters fund and 6.00 expenses )which will include Jnr Team England Fund 3.00 and local asc fee) Any Bowler paying for all three rounds in advance ( 115) will receive a discount as this will include membership
