ARENA GUIDE FALL / WINTER 2018/2019 SKATING ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES CHECK OUT OUR CITY WIDE ARENA MAP PUBLIC PROGRAMMING STARTS: OCTOBER 1,2018 - MARCH 31, 2019

SKATE DESCRIPTIONS Figure Skate 18+ Practice your edges, crossovers, turning and improve overall strength and endurance. For all adult level figure skaters. No jumps or lifts permitted during this skate. CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended. Coaching or Instruction during this program is not permitted. Enjoy skating for all ages. Children 6 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible guardian 12 years and older. CSA approved helmets are mandatory for children under 6 years of age. CSA helmets are strongly recommended during Public Skating sessions by all participants. 18+ Enjoy skating for ages 18+. CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended. 55+ 55 years and older. Come and enjoy some fun skating at your local arena. CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended. (Family) Enjoy a family skate for adults ages (18+) with a limit of 5 children per adult. No additional equipment is permitted (i.e. hockey Stick, pucks, etc). Skate aids may be permitted during Mon-Fri daytime family skates. Not permitted during evening, weekends & holiday skates. CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended. Note: Skate aids allowed at the discretion of the Arena Operator. (Parent & Tot) Skating for children accompanied by parents. Children must be 5 years of age and under. Child is required to wear a CSA approved helmet. It is strongly recommended that adults also wear a CSA approved helmet. Preschoolers are permitted with or without a skating aid on the ice. A Skate Monitor will provide support and assistance if needed and has equipment available to engage participants. Shinny 18+ Pick up recreational hockey for ages 18+. Maximum of 30 participants per session (excluding goaltenders). Sign in no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of the program, at the reception desk. Goaltenders are free. Full equipment is mandatory and CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory. Non-contact rules apply. Shinny 55+ Pick up recreational hockey for 55+. Maximum of 30 participants per session (excluding goaltenders). Sign in no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of the program, at the reception desk. Goaltenders are free. Full equipment is mandatory and CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory. Non-contact rules apply. Stick and Puck U9 ( 9 years & under ) Enjoy this time to practice puck handling, passing, shooting and skating skills, for children 9 years and under.
