This is where you have the opportunity to take photos, edit them, and send them in for the contest. Those photos who place 1 st in their category will advance to the district contest in May. Those photos will need to be emailed to kari.davis@ag.tamu.edu saved in the following format: (Last Name_First Name_Age Division_Category). Photos are due no later than March 9 th. Page 9 Navarro County 4-H 2018 Scholarship Application Deadline is Quickly Approaching! Attention graduating seniors its not too late to apply for a Youth Livestock Scholarship! Applications are open until February 23, 2018. About the Scholarship: Recipients receive a $6,000 grant over a four year period, renewable in $1,500 annual increments. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA while working towards a degree in agricultural program at a Texas college or university. Applicants must have exhibited in a livestock show, competed in a youth contest or participated in a equine event at the State Fair of Texas See additional application requirements on our website. To Apply: Visit the Scholarship website to begin the online application Submit one recommendation letter from applicant s Principal, Assistant Principal, or Counselor. Submit one recommendation letter from the applicant s FFA Advisor or 4- H Leader.
