Tech Source Institutional Research Tennessee Tech University March 16, 2018 This report contains current information about Fall-to-Spring and Fall-to-Fall retention rates for first-time freshmen of Fall 2016 at Tennessee Tech University. The Fall 2016 cohort of first-time freshmen consists of all first-time, full-time freshmen who entered the University in the Fall Semester of 2016 or the immediately preceding Summer. For the Fall 2016 cohort, this report presents detailed retention information about each academic program within each academic unit. Students are grouped according to their academic unit and program in their first Fall term, which is Fall 2016. Three types of retention information are presented: retention at the University, retention in the original academic unit, and retention in the original program of study. Onesemester (Fall-to-Spring) and one-year (Fall-to-Fall) retention rates are presented for each academic unit and the programs in which first-time freshmen were enrolled. A summary table for one-year retention rates is presented below, with detailed information in the subsequent tables of this report. One-Year (Fall-to-Fall) of Fall 2016 A. B. C.
