ABOUT US Playmakers Basketball strives to provide basketball, as well as personal growth and development opportunities through camps, club teams, and individual instruction for boys and girls in grades K-12. As a professional organization, we understand that for boys and girls who have a passion for basketball, the court is the best classroom to teach hard work, persistence, self-discipline and self-motivation. Our Vision is to serve as the most complete youth basketball organization in the United States. We are fully committed to directing topnotch offensive skills camps, providing extremely detailed individual instruction, and offering a nationally competitive club program. We are dedicated to creating a family oriented atmosphere, as well as teaching our players the life skills that go hand in hand with success on the court: hard work, persistence, self-discipline and self-motivation. We know through experience that for boys and girls who have a passion for basketball, the court is the best classroom to teach these values. WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU If you have the commitment, discipline, and passion to be the best basketball player you can possibly be, no matter what level you are at now, we can help you get there. I always tell players, I can t make you a better player, but I can teach you everything you need to know to make yourself a better player. It all comes down to how much time you want to sacrifice, how many movies with your friends you are going to miss, and how many mornings you are going to be the first one out of bed, working on your game. It s not fun getting up at 5AM or missing the parties, but it is fun when you run out on the floor to play in the sectional finals in front of 3,000 people dressed in your school colors. It s fun when you re in transition, cross someone over, get to the rack and finish the And 1. Practice finishing with both hands on both sides i.e.- lefty and righty on the left side, lefty and righty on the right side. Success is a peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable. -John Wooden Each of us has a different definition of success. Don t get caught up in competing with others, rather continually challenge yourself to reach goals and become the best you can be.
