Daily from 08.30 to 20.00 -Family Heritage Card Daily Draw For the duration of National Heritage Week, with every admission there will be a free entry to a daily draw for a chance to win a Family Heritage Card. Daily from 09.00 to 17.00 Saturday 20 th August 2016 -Hawkeye Birds of Prey Experience Get the experience of a lifetime by joining the skilled falconers of Hawkeye Falconry and their birds of prey. Learn more about these magnificent birds and admire a flying display in the Park. Weather permitting

Photographs and local newspapers from this era further enhance the picture of everyday life 100 years ago in Kilkenny and also includes news from the capital and further afield. From 20.00 to 21.00

From 15.00 to 16.00 Weather permitting -Kilkenny Motor Club s Classic Cars OPW Kilkenny Castle is delighted to welcome back the always popular Kilkenny Motor Club to present their Classic Cars at Kilkenny Castle Park. From 13.00 to 17.00 Sunday 28 th August 2016 -Waldorf Wayfarers: Musica Antiqua Performing for the first time in Kilkenny Castle, the Waldorf Wayfarers offer Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music for voices, with string, recorders, crumhorns, gemshorns, tuned and untuned percussion. From 14.00 Please note that this is a very busy site and visitors may experience a delay during the summer months. Children under the age of 18 years must be supervised at all times. No-flash photography permitted. No video, no food, no drinks allowed inside the Castle. Parts of the Castle may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
