Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club Sponsorship Program

Contents Show of Support 2 Introduction 3 First Place In Our Community 4 How You Can Help Us Sponsorship Opportunities 6 Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club Achievement Highlights 8 Sponsorship & Support Proposal 12 I just wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the fantastic achievement of being recognised as the Club of the Year for 2013 and 2014 and on the individual awards the Club has received in various categories at the recent Gymnastics NSW Awards Night. The Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club is a valued contributor to the Warringah community through over 37 years of dedicated service to gymnastics. The Club has experienced unprecedented growth in the past 28 months and now has a membership of over 2,300. This level of growth means MWGC has difficulty catering for the numbers of community members interested in taking up gymnastics and gym related sports. They are therefore looking at opportunities for a larger purpose built facility in the Warringah area. This letter is to confirm my ongoing support for the Club and its valuable work in our community. Mr Michael Regan Mayor of Warringah The MWGC is a valued contributor to the Warringah community through over 37 years of dedicated service to gymnastics.

Introduction The Manly Warringah district is home to a colourful and vibrant community, offering residents a healthy and active lifestyle and boasting a history rich in sporting achievement. At the very heart of that community is Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club. Since 1978, we have supported thousands of young Australians to realise their full potential in physical skills, building character and selfconfidence along the way. The club has always maintained a progressive outlook and is constantly evolving, resulting in an outstanding 200% growth rate over the past two years and allowing us to offer more than 320 classes each week. We hope to continue the growth and success of this great community owned club. MWGC has achieved an outstanding 200% growth rate over the past two years Ian Hardy CEO Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM 3

First Place In Our Community Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club is a 100% community owned, self-funding, not for profit organisation, established in 1978. Our long-term management is under the expert guidance of our Board of Directors, all of whom are experienced business professionals. Our club is now the number one gymnastic club in New South Wales. We re very proud of our enviable reputation for producing fine gymnasts and for giving all children the opportunity to be involved in many forms of gym and related sports. Our 2,336 members range from the very young to adult. Many travel from across Sydney to take advantage of the club s superior facilities and all enjoy the many benefits physical exercise can bring. The club is open 15 hours a day, seven days a week and our 56 staff members welcome more than 220,000 visitors annually. We re proud that we can offer so much to so many. We offer over 320 separate classes to suit every skill level, with most afterschool sessions now fully booked and operating substantial waiting lists. More than 20 local public and private schools use our facility and programmes as part of the NSW school sports curriculum. The club is recognised as a centre of excellence for disability gymnastics. An initiative with Dee Why RSL has given us the opportunity to offer returning service personnel free access to facilities and programmes designed to assist with post-traumatic stress disorders. Recent achievements May/June 2015 27 member team competed in the National Championships in Melbourne June 2015 51 athletes and coaches attended live-in training with US Olympic champions at the prestigious Woodward West Gymnastics Camp in California 2015 3 Club members on Australian teams and 2 announced as National Champions 2014 Winner, Men s National Clubs Champion 2012-2015 Winner, NSW Men s Grand Prix 2013 and 2014 Gymnastics NSW, Overall Club of the Year 4 SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

How You Can Help Us Sponsorship Opportunities Sponsoring the new Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club facility offers an outstanding opportunity for corporations, businesses and individuals alike to invest in the future of the Northern Beaches community. We offer a range of sponsorship packages designed to successfully promote your brand to over 200,000 visitors each year.
