TEA Club This club is for any student in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade that shows an interest in having a safe space for all students to socialize. This group will work to build awareness on LGBTQIA+ issues and equality for all in our school. TEA will meet once a month, after school.

Mrs. Durr s Health Tip of the Week: How to cope with stress 1. Do something nice for yourself. 2. Find something creative to do, like draw, sing, or dance. 3. Go exercise! 4. Do something fun with your friends. These activities help balance your body, which is how your brain and body work best!
Mrs. Schoeben in room 222 is collecting new and used/freshly laundered hoodies for people in need. Hoodies will be collected until December 10th!
Four FMS students will be performing in Springfield Ballet Company's performance of The Nutcracker at Sangamon Auditorium. This is the 44th annual production of The Nutcracker featuring elaborate new scenery, colorful new costumes, exquisite dancing, and beautiful music. The production features a cast of 124, including Company dancers, local actors, young dancers from the community and professional guest artists. Shows are at 2 pm and 7 pm on Saturday, December 8th and again at 2 pm on Sunday, December 9th. The FMS students participating are : Arianna A., Meghan G., Audrey L. and Mia M.
Attention 7th grade Beta Club Members: There will be a 7th grade Beta Club meeting on the 28th (Wednesday) AND the 30th (Friday). Please check in with your A.P. teacher before coming to the library. There will be a poster decorating on November 27th, this Tuesday, in Mrs. Zinnen's room (235). It will take place after school. You can earn Beta Club hours from this.
