This year s event is scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd and will continue the long-held traditions of Missouri Livestock judging and offer students the ability to develop their judging skills. Co-sponsored and coordinated by the University of Missouri, the Missouri Department of Agriculture, and the Ag Education Advisory Team, this is a great opportunity to support and develop Missouri s youth involved in animal agriculture. The clinic is designed for participants in 8th grade or younger and will focus on hands-on learning, working in small groups to learn more about the basics of livestock evaluation, and understanding the importance of USDA grading of cattle. The contest will provide students the ability to develop and test their skills in a contest-like setting. For more information or to register for this event, please visit https://www.judgingcard.com/registration/info.aspx?id=7513 or contact Britton Francis at bwfxc4@mail.missouri.edu or Dr. Bryon Wiegand at wiegandb@missouri.edu.
