WHY PLAY FOR ADVNC It s hard to find great coaching and even harder to get recruited living in a non-traditional lacrosse market. The primary mission of the ADVNC Program is threefold: 1. Help create great lacrosse players 2. Help form excellent young men 3. THE ADVNC SELECT TEAM CALENDAR The ADVNC Select Team calendar matches that of the players school year, with evaluations at the end of August and teams remaining together through the following July. This allows for teams and players to develop in the fall, break for their Spring school seasons, and re-form for the Summer season. Not only does this provide the necessary cohesion to compete at the highest level at Summer tournaments, it allows for skill development leading into players Spring school and youth club seasons. ADVNC SELECT TEAM FEATURES 5 Tournaments: 2 in the Fall/Winter, 3 in the Summer Approximately 30 practices throughout the year. (Scheduled to avoid conflicts with other sports.) ADVNC NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (NDP) The National Development Program is the pinnacle of the ADVNC Program. Players from each ADVNC Regional Team will be invited to join together and play on the ADVNC National Development Program. The ADVNC NDP Teams attend the nation's most prestigious tournaments and play against the best teams in the country in their age group.
