Each member can put their own message on these tiles. You can put your name or in memory of a loved one, for example. The money made from selling these tiles will go to the Building Fund. Sunday is all you can eat breakfast from 9-12pm. We are also doing dinners Friday evenings sometimes, watch calendar, and Saturday evenings at the Aerie from. The Women of the Moose (WOTM) will be doing dinners on Wednesday nights from. Please come and show your support. We need help in cooking, serving and cleaning so if you would like to help please let the meal coordinator know or see Art Martin. All help is greatly appreciated and needed. Our Kitchen Coordinator is Art Martin; contact him with any ideas or constructive input. WOODEN EAGLES You may have noticed the wooden Eagles on the wall at the Aerie. One of our Members, Larry Giggey, is making these Eagles for the Aerie at no charge to the Aerie. The Eagles are being sold for $10.00 each. The money goes to our Building fund. You have probably noticed some of the Aerie members wearing a Polo or T-shirt with the Aerie logo and Black Creek Eagles #4530 on them andthey look good. You may now purchase them from the bartender, if available. If your size is not available let the Trustees know what you need for the next order. The Polo shirts are $20.00 each and the T-Shirts are $14.00. They come in Black, Blue or Red or if you prefer another color that can be done. Any size is okay. Once we have a minimum order of twelve (12) we will order them. Come look in the display case at the Aerie for other merchandise also. WEEKLY DRAWING The Aerie is doing a weekly drawing every week on Saturday night at 9 pm. Please stop in and sign up. You can sign up anytime the Aerie is open. We are asking for a $1.00 donation to sign the book. Rules are posted in the weekly sign in book. If your number is picked and you signed the book then you win 80% of the pot if you are present, otherwise, 50% if not present. If no one wins the money it is rolled over to the next week. The drawing is on Monday nights around 8 pm. Do you feel lucky? You do not have to be present to win. Just ask the bartender for a ticket at $1.00 each, put your name on the back of the ticket along with the card number you want and if your name is pulled the card will be turned over for a possible win of cash. The committee members are Ken Kohnen, Don Morgan, and Allen Casey. PROPOSED BY-LAW CHANGES OLD: Section 3.2 CHANGE Section 3.2 AERIE MEMBERSHIP A member who has lost their Eagles privileges due to non-payment of their dues may apply for re-enrollment. There will be a fee of $30.00 charged. Dues will be pro-rated to the next annual due date. A member who has lost their Eagles privileges due to non-payment of their dues may apply for re-enrollment. There will be a fee of $25.00 charged. Dues will be pro-rated to the next annual due date. To have the same price as Enrollment fee. DUES OLD: Section 5.1 Dues for members shall be due on February 28 th, yearly. CHANGE: Section 5.1 Dues for members shall be due on May 31 st, annually, to go into effect after dues collection in February 2015. OLD: Section 11.1 CHANGE: Section 11.1 To avoid paying per capita tax for members that would be dropped on June 15 th. Membership cards will be adjusted after the February 2015 collection of dues. INTERNAL UNITS This Aerie may establish and sponsor an internal organization known as Eagle Riders Club, in accordance with Section 116.1 & 116.5 of the statutes. To get up to date with the latest statute changes that consolidates all the internal units. If these internal units are to be established then we can add them into the By-Laws. NEWSLETTER EDITOR Thank-you to Judy McKinley for stepping up to the plate and becoming the Newsletter Editor. Please direct all your input to her and keep it positive please. We need more members to step up to the plate in support of our Aerie and Auxiliary.
NEXT EAGLE RIDER MEETING The next Eagle Rider meeting will be on Saturday, October 11 th at 1:00 P.M. It is only $10 to become a member. Our Riders are planning a great weekend October 24 th and 25 th 50% of all proceeds will go to Our Aeries Building Fund. Friday will be Art s famous LOW COUNTRY BOIL with entertainment by Edd. Saturday will be having a BBQ out front and a live band Double Shot will be playing out front from 3-7. Will have 50/50 and raffles. Make sure you mark your calendar to support our Building Fund and have fun doing it. Halloween Kids Party will be November 1 st from 1-3 Will have games and prizes for best costume.
