Kraków Valley G&CC, Poland 20-23 September 2017
Messages On behalf of the European Golf Association it is my pleasure to welcome all competitors, officials and supporters to the 2017 European Boys Team Championship, Division 2. My thanks go to the Polish Golf Union for organising this event, to the officials, staff and volunteers who work so hard to make this tournament so enjoyable for everyone. I also extend my thanks to Kraków Valley Golf & Country Club and its members for making their superb golf course available for this championship. I am certain that all will be inspired to perform at the highest level of team golf in a competitive and friendly manner. My best wishes to all teams, officials and supporters. Have an enjoyable week and I hope you make many lasting friendships. Jean-Marc Mommer President of European Golf Association On behalf of the Polish Golf Union, I have the pleasure to invite all participants of the 2017 European Boys Team Championship - Division 2, which we will host this year in our country. I thank the authorities of European Golf Association for the trust and granting us the organisation of such rank event. Many accolades to Kraków Valley G&CC for undertaking an uneasy task of organising an event of the highest European standards. I wish all players unforgettable sport successes and spectators many joy and wonderful emotions. Welcome to Poland and enjoy our hospitality! Let the best win! Marek Michałowski President of Polish Golf Union Since the beginning of its existence, the Kraków Valley Golf & Country Club has been putting great emphasis on professional preparation of the golf course. Each day we contribute to fulfill all requirements set for the best champion sites worldwide. In the eyes of golfers, we already gained the opinion of a difficult but interesting, well prepared course that is challenging for the best players. The presence of young players during the EGA is a great honor for our course, but also a chance for further popularization of this fantastic sport in Poland and attracting new fans to it. We hope that this tournament will be a prologue to further events of such importance, thanks to which Poland will start to appear on the world map of golf. Grzegorz Mądry President of the Board Management

The Course Kraków Valley Golf & Country Club, a golf complex covering an area of 160 hectares, has been created in last years in Paczółtowice, a small village between Kraków and Katowice. It was designed by Ronald Fream, an American from California who started his career in 1966 in the team of legendary Robert Trent Jones. Surrounded by a dense thick forest this championship golf course (par 72) aims to satisfy every player s requirements. Diversified tee distances which welcome both beginners (from 4.981m from the front tees) and advanced players (up to 6.518m from the pro tees), a unique design, wide rolling fairways and massive bunkers around the greens with high, challenging faces all these elements combine with a typical Polish landscape to allow the whole complex to aspire to a place among the top European golf courses. And all this thanks to the beauty of the Polish landscape.
