Legends Restaurant and Lounge Beverage and Bar Service Please note that Legends Restaurant & Lounge at the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club is the sole supplier of all food and beverages in accordance with our Food Establishment Permit. Legends Restaurant & Lounge offers a full-service lounge featuring a great selection of beer, wine and premium liquor. Your guests are welcome to visit the lounge during regular business hours. Liquor can also be purchased and consumed at the 10 th hole kiosk or from the beverage cars. For special events we offer a variety of beverage services and solutions to compliment your event. Cash Bar is suggested when your guests are responsible for ordering and paying for their own drinks. Host Bar is recommended when a company or individual is hosting the event and is therefore paying for all of the group s beverages. The charges will reflect the actual number of drinks consumed to be charged to the host at tournament host prices. (Per drink discounts available for one bill host bar) Tickets are suggested when the event organizer wishes to provide a certain number of drinks to his guest, paid for by the organization or company. Tickets are provided to the organizer for them to distribute and the organization is charged for the tickets accordingly. For groups of 101 or more the fee is $65. For groups just having music, and no dance, the fee will be half off. This fee is mandatory by federal law to pay for a performing rights license under Tariff 8 and is approved by the Copyright Board and published annually in the Canada Gazette. Music is not required.*
Tournament Contract Thank you for choosing the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club for your golf event! We are proud to offer many years of service experience in all of our departments to assist you in hosting a successful tournament. As your hosts, we will be asking you, as the event coordinator, to inform your guests, players and volunteers of the following: A $1,000 deposit is required at time of booking to guarantee date. The maximum number of players must be conveyed to the event coordinator at time of booking. The deadline for any changes to the confirmed number of players and power carts is five business days prior to your tournament. Your foursome list must be emailed or given to the event coordinator at least two business days prior to your tournament. This is to ensure that the GPGCC can offer the requested team pairings. All men s shirts must have collars and/or sleeves. Ladies tops must have at least a 2 shoulder strap. Pants and shorts must be tailored. Please no jogging pants or obscenely lettered clothing. (Jeans are welcome) Failure to comply will result in the offender being asked to change prior to play. Tournament hosts will be responsible for the actions of the tournaments participants. Tournament hosts will be responsible for any cost of repairs for damages to the course or course property including power cars. Participants are to adhere to GPGCC power car rules and regulations based on the day s playing conditions. Hole sponsors must arrive one hour prior to tee off. Sponsors arriving less than one hour prior to tee off may have to wait until after tee off to go to their designated location. GPGCC is not responsible for lost or damaged signage. Please arrange to have signs dropped off the day before your tournament and picked up within 24 hours of your tournament. A food event is required for all tournaments. The menu selection must be conveyed to the event coordinator at least 5 business days prior to your tournament, the confirmed number will be your guarantee. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or the actual number, whichever is greater. The confirmed number for all meals cannot be less than the number of confirmed golfers. All food and beverage requirements are to be supplied solely by GPGCC. Removal of food or beverage items from GPGCC is prohibited as governed by city and provincial legislation. All regulations and applicable laws, as they pertain to food and alcohol, will be strictly adhered to by all staff of GPGCC. Tournament Host s Signature
