Le Journal Toulois REUNION 2004 The reunion was hosted by Pete Boyd and was held in Las Vegas, NV, at the Luxor Hotel June 25-27. A great time was had by the 82 Toulies, spouses, and friends. Two poolside cabanas were available on Friday and Saturday where classmates could swim, chat, laugh, reminisce, and drink lots of water. Friday night the class of 1964 hosted dinner at the Paris Hotel Buffet. Saturday noon we gathered at the Arc de Triomphe for pictures. A dinner buffet was held at the Luxor on Saturday night. These reunions are getting better and better!! It was wonderful seeing everyone...it is so special when people make the effort to re connect with the past...and I am very glad so many of the Toulies came out for this one!! Mike Pence: Several of the me mories are vivid. Such as turning around and seeing Les standing there grinning like a Cheshire cat. And looking Max Parkinson straight in the eye, after he used to bulldoze me on the football field. And realizing half-way through the dinner that the gal sitting two seats to my left was Diane Brown, whom I hadn't seen since France. Ken Peters: I have been to a few reunions now, and each one is filled with Joy. It was wonderful to see all of my old friends, and heart pumping to see new old friends. Lynn Ziegler and Liz Sheldon... You made Saturday night just like the teen club. Cindy White... You honored me by wearing my letter jacket. I've never had a cheer leader do that before. Max Parkinson... You are not as scary as I remember. Maybe because I've added a few pounds or maybe just because you are a nice person. Les (Tally) Taylor... I can't remember when I've been so happy to see someone. You were the surprise of the event. Houston Thompson... Although you weren't there in person, I could see Rudolf with a pile of cow S**T on the hood and a trip to Vitel for a little swimming. Look forward to seeing you at the next one. 2
