May 13 Program - Nick Ross, San Juan Angler Fly Shop Nick was born and raised in Pueblo, CO and grew up fly fishing the Arkansas, South Platte, and various other Southern Colorado high desert creeks and high elevation lakes. He works for the San Juan Angler Fly Shop in Durango, CO and has guided on the San Juan River and other local waters in his home state of Colorado, as well as in Montana and even Alaska. So what does a guy like Nick do for fun, you might ask? When the tension gets too high and he needs to get away from it all, he just takes a vacation in saltier climates such as in Belize or the Florida Keys where permit are his favorite fly rod quarry. Please join us as he shares his greatest adventures and the highlights of his enviable career on Monday, May 13. Presentation begins at 7:00PM, May 13 LRCE Building, 5550 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70806 RSFF Fly Tying When: Monday, May 27 th 7PM TO 9PM Where: Bass Pro Denham Springs, LA Fly Tying at Bass Pro Fat Head Minnow Our next "Fourth Monday Fly Tying" session will be held at Bass Pro in Denham Springs on Monday, May 27th.
