SOMAR STRENGTH Barbara & Hector Ramos are Golf Fitness Specialists and the founders of Somar Strength. Combined they have over 45 years of experience in the fitness industry. As the official trainers of The West Florida Golf Tour, they work with golfers of all levels from PGA Professionals and amateurs, to juniors and weekend warriors. Their knowledge, professionalism and expertise can help any golfer take his or her game to the next level. INCLUDED IN PACKAGE A Golf Specific Screening & Performance Evaluation. A Custom Golf Fitness Program, designed exclusively for the individual needs of each participating member. A Follow-Up Training/Learning Session at the Somar Strength Studio demonstrating and explaining how to correctly perform each movement in their Personalized Fitness Program. Participants will also receive videos demonstrating how to correctly perform each exercise. BREAKDOWN GOLF SPECIFIC SCREENING: consists of screens developed by both the Titleist Performance Institute and the National Academy of Sports Medicine to identify limitations that may be inhibiting a golfer from playing optimally and with maximum efficiency. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: consists of movement, flexibility and tissue evaluations. Movement - to gauge one s physical abilities, giving us a clear indication of a person s physical capability. Flexibility - to determine which joints lack the necessary range of motion to allow the body to move correctly. Tissue to identify any restrictions in the tissue/muscles that may be contributing to dysfunctions in the body. We analyze all the information gathered and put together an individualized fitness program to help reduce or eliminate any physical limitations, thus increasing overall efficiency of the body. FOLLOW UP TRAINING/LEARNING SESSION @ SOMAR STRENGTH STUDIO: We provide a print out of their screening, a breakdown of our findings and their individualized fitness program. We then explain the purpose of each movement and teach them how to properly execute each exercise in the fitness program. For each appointment, the coordinating professional receives a $100 commission for every participating member, paid on the day of evaluation. Somar Strength will supply flyers to help host professional and club promote the event. We can also provide an e-vite to send to your membership if desired. EVENT PROMOTION It is the responsibility of the host professional to promote the event and gather signups. This event can be successful and mutually beneficial to all involved if the host professional actively promotes it to the members and informs them of the potential benefits. FINANCING The host professional will receive $100 for every member screened and evaluated. We can accept check, cash and/or credit card on the day of the event. For those wishing to save $50 by prepaying, we can email a PayPal fund request. Simply forward us their email. Members must prepay within 48 hour of the event to be eligible for $50 discount. The host professional will be paid in full at the end of the day by check and/or cash depending on method of payment used by each member.
