From 2014 players of Non-FIR members may not participate in FIR world tour events. Big hopes for the future: Lebanon Marc Mourad Japan Hirona Sudo Luxemburg Tony Nightingale Qatar Alexandru Rosca Iceland Arnþór Jón Þorvarðsson Ghana Conny Schmickl Nepal Manoranjan Mishra Norway Lennart Eklundh Further Possibilities: Portugal Luis Barbossa, Jacob de Bangladesh Manoranjan Mishra Vries China Thorsten Deck Ukraine Aija Klaseva Dubai Andy Holmes Wales Peter Bridgeman Eygpt Karim Hanna Zimbabwe Jessica Calder

2) Sportaccord Application (Marcel Weigl) Marcel Weigl has submitted all papers to Sportaccord by the deadline 11 th of July Sportaccord has received and sent a long list of missing papers, which shall be submitted by national federations and handed by FIR by 1 st October (this has happened) Letters of recognition by International Tabletennis Federation and World Badminton Federation have still not been obtained Recognitions by national sports federations still needed, Council member countries Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, England to push further 3) Resultreporter/Tournament Software (Marcel Weigl) The situation with Resultreporter is not at all satisfactory for FIR. A lot of points are still open (see list below) and the total costs are too high Lennart Eklundh is asked to have a personal meeting with Rickard Tauson from RR (this has meanwhile happened) At the same time some FIR member nations Netherlands and Belgium have requested an evaluation of tournament software used for many other racket sports. A meeting with tournament software responsible has been held during Team and Double World Champs in the Netherlands Resultreporter most important To Dos: Clear cut and graphical implementation of national versions Paypal integration to collect tournament fees together with the entry fees is tested and does not work properly at all Layout new header for www.resultreporter.com and www.racketlon.net is far to small and not readable for users Check Manual RR Live Matchpoint indicator and text is incorrect Doubles sorting according to world ranking Match times below schedule Juniors and Seniors Rankings, Filter FIR Council Decision: Marcel will evaluate and compare the exact costs until the AGM 2013 in Zürich, where a decision from 2014 shall be taken.

4) Social Media (Phil Todd) Phil Todd reports that the new facebook page has a very good feedback, but in order to get more people on facebook a game to win goodies shall be invented Youtube account is working fine, as is the twitter channel taken care of by Keith Lesser One problem stays the picture upload of the tournaments. Phil Todd suggests to close down flickr and get them all onto facebook by buying more Webspace for 40 per year 5) World Tour 2014 (Marcel Weigl) The World Tour 2014 is finalised with 14 tournaments in 16 countries New is a SWT event in Canada and an IWT in Romania Special exception and switch of Singles World Champs to be held in Summer and Doubles and Teams and of the year for the first time ever in Poland 1.IWT Vienna Classics Vienna/Austria 31.1-2.2 2.IWT Swedish Open Malmö 21-23 February 3.SWT Canadian Open Montreal 7-9 March 4.IWT Czech Open Prague 11 13 April 5.IWT Hungarian Open Budapest 2 4 May 6.SWT Danish Open Lngby/Copenhagen 16-18 May 7.SWT King of Rackets Oudenaarde/Belgium 6 8 June 8.IWT Swiss Open Zürich 27-29 June 9.IWT Dutch Open Zoetermeer 11-13 July 10.IWT German Open Nussloch/Germany 25 27 July 11.IWT Bulgarian Int. 6) Finances (Lennart Eklundh) Lennart Eklundh reports that the financial situation is very alarming and that FIR is at least 3500 Euro behind the 2014 budget Lennart also reminds that it is a waste of time to run after all countries for the membership fees Marcel Weigl states that there is still no income from marketing and the only income is membership fees, license fees and subsidiaries from the Austrian government organised by him, which just can t be The options for more income are increasing the membership fees (50 per vote), the license fee (15 ) or finally getting in a sponsor The options for decreasing the costs are very small, maybe some money can be saved with Resultreporter In addition Marcel concludes that it is personally impossible for him to continue to work the current amount of hours for Racketlon as a freelancer. The number of members and work has increased over the last years dramatically and from 2015 one person must be employed for 20 hours a week, which would lead to costs of minimum around 40.000 Euro including all insurances and taxes per year FIR Council Decision: All membership fees for 2014 must be paid at the AGM 2013 in Zürich. Non-attending countries can transfer the money until 1 st January 2014 7) Marketing (Nathalie Zeoli) Thorsten Deck has made a new marketing presentation in German but not submitted to FIR yet Thorsten has given Marcel two or three contacts, but Marcel no time to contact them intensively and asks Nathalie and Thorsten to take care of this personally Lennart will try to get hold of Gus Hansen for support again All Council members are asked for ideas, help and real action 8) Requests to the Council Request by Belgian President to adapt the rules of conduct and take more care on the implementation at FIR events Request by English representative Keith Lesser for a consistent Physio on the World Tour Request by English representative Keith Lesser to introduce a Women Seniors (+55) Class for the first time at the World Champs in Zürich FIR Council Decision: All three requests are signed off and shall be implemented
