ORGANISATION: The Meeting will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, and the National Competition Rules of Karting Australia and the Tasmanian State Regulations. 4. 3. ENTRY FEE 3.1. ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1. Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon ( top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a Race Meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2. Payment of the Entry Fee can be made as follows: CREDIT CARD PAYMENT ONLY via Online SecurePay Payment at the Track Will Not be accepted. 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES 5.1. 4 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or Division. 5.2. 5.3. If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or Division to form in its own right, the Compulsory Competition Classes will be Consolidated in accordance with Competition Rules - Chapter 1, Rule 9. Discretionary Competition Classes may be Consolidated in accordance with the Rules or cancelled at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. If a Class or Division is cancelled, the Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. Page 3 of 6

3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 2. Practice 2 Practice session/s of 6 minutes will be held. 3. Qualifying 4. Heats & Final 5. DISTANCES There will be Timed Qualifying at this Event. There will be one (1) standalone Qualifying session of 6 minutes The order of Karts on the grid for the commencement of Qualifying must be random no high/low numbers) The system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations - Zonal Competition Format 8 Heat 1 10 Laps Heat 2 10 Laps Heat 3 12 Laps Heat 4 12 Laps Final 18 Laps 6. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 6.1. Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 7.00 am on 17/02/2018 7. DRIVERS BRIEFING 7.1 DATE: 17/02/2018 TIME: 12.15pm LOCATION: At start Grid 8. FUEL 8.1. PULP are the only fuels permitted to be used at this Meeting. 8.2. Control Fuel Will Not be used at this Meeting. 9. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. PADDOCK ALLOCATION Paddock allocation Will Not occur for the Meeting 2. MEDICAL SERVICES 2.1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 3.4. Karts can be retrieved via <Insert details of where Karts can be retrieved> 4. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 4.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. Page 5 of 6

2018 Highclere Challenge Go in the draw to win two engines 1 for the seniors and 1 for the juniors. Round 1 Feb 17 & 18 Round 2 June 2 & 3 Round 3 September 8 & 9 Round points as per the 2018 State Regulations. DNF or DNS zero points. Race formats as per the supplementary regulations for each round. ROUND PRIZES 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd places will receive trophies on the day for each round (each class/division must have a minimum of 4 entries) ). First across the line in the final will be the round winner. SERIES PRIZES Every driver that competes in all three rounds, will be given one ticket in the prize draw. (No minimum number of entries is required for each class / division, however, entries must be in the same class/division for each round). Bonus tickets will be awarded to the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd highest point scorers from each eligible class/division, for each round. o The highest point scorer will be awarded 6 bonus tickets. o The second highest point scorer will be awarded 4 bonus tickets. o The third highest point scorer will be awarded 2 bonus tickets. NOTE: Each class/division must have a minimum of 4 entries at all three rounds to be eligible for the bonus tickets. Senior drivers that have competed in all three rounds, will go into the draw to win either an IAME X30 or an IAME KA100. Junior drivers (including Cadets) that have competed in all three rounds, will go into the draw to win either an IAME KA100 or a Vortex Mini Rok. For the series prize draw to take place, there must be a minimumm of 60 entries at each round. DRIVERS MUST BE AT PRESENTATIONS TO COLLECT PRIZES. IF THEY ARE NOT PRESENT, THEN THE PRIZE WILLL BE RE-DRAWN Page 6 of 6
