3. ENTRY FEE 3.1. The Entry Fee for each Class at this Meeting including GST and TDF Levy is as follows: Competition Class Name Entry Fee All Classes $95.00 Late Entry Surcharge $25.00 4. ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1. Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon ( top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a Race Meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2. Payment of the Entry Fee can be made as follows: Credit Card: Secure On-line Payments via CMS. Payment at the Track for late entries will be accepted. The following payment methods are available: 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES Cash Credit card 5.1. Eight (8) is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or Division. 5.2. If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or Division to form in its own right, the Compulsory Competition Classes will be Consolidated in accordance with Competition Rules - Chapter 1, Rule 9. Discretionary Competition Classes may be Consolidated in accordance with the Rules or cancelled at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. NOTE: A Class or Division must have a Minimum of eight (8) entries at all Rounds of the Series to be eligible for end of trophies. A Driver must compete in a Class or Division at all Rounds of the Series to be eligible for Series Prizes and Awards. If insufficient entries are received to constitute a Class or Division that Class or Division may be: i) combined with another Class or Division at the discretion of the Series Organising Committee; or ii) iii) If at Round 1 of the Series, may not be offered for the remaining Rounds of the Series. For a class to be eligible for final series points the class must run at all 6 rounds and have a minimum of eig entries at each round to constitute a class or division. Each Round of the Series will be conducted over a Maximum of two (2) days. The circuit will be closed to all competitors and there equipment from 12.01 am Monday prior to the event 11.00am Friday of the event. 5.3. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 2. Practice 1 Practice session of 6 minutes will be held. 3. Qualifying 4. DISTANCES 5. There will be Timed Qualifying at this Event. There will be one (1) standalone Qualifying session of 6 minutes The order of Karts on the grid for the commencement of Qualifying must be random no high/low numbers) Heat 1 6 LAPS Heat 2 6 LAPS Heat 3 6 LAPS Heat 4 6 LAPS Final 10 LAPS Heats and Final 6. The system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations - Series Competition Format No. 401 less 10% points system will be used. All points count for the series but final only counts for trophies on the day. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 7.1. Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 9 AM on 9/02/2018 8. DRIVERS BRIEFING 7.1 DATE: 10/02/2108 TIME: 10.45 am LOCATION: Out grid 9. FUEL 9.1. PULP is the only fuel permitted to be used at this Meeting. 9.2. Control Fuel will only to be used at this Meeting. From the 10 th 11 th Feb inclusive. 9.3. 9.4. Supply details for Control Fuel are: PULP 98 fuel for use at this Meeting may be purchased from Friday 9th February at (any Pump) Tasco Petroleum Caltex 178 Melbourne Road Wodonga.. Control fuel must be used From Saturday 10 th Sunday 11 th Feb inclusive. Proof of purchase of the Control Fuel must be retained and produced to the Chief Scrutineer or Fuel Tester if required. TROPHIES & PRIZES 11.1. a) 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd place trophies to be awarded as well as award for fastest qualifier. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 3.4. Karts can be retrieved via The out grid or turn 4 gate on direction from an official. 4. 4.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 4.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Large commercial Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. FORMAT. a) Grid Procedure i) Heat 1: Grid Positions in accordance with the results of Qualifying, with the fastest Driver on Pole Position and so on. ii) Heat 2: Grid Positions in accordance with the results of Qualifying, with the fastest Driver on Pole Position and so on. iii) Heat 3: Highest accumulated points from Heat 1 and Heat 2 will start on Pole Position and so on. iv) Heat 4: Highest accumulated points from Heat 1, Heat 2 and Heat 3 will start on Pole Position and so on. v) Final: Highest accumulated points from Heat 1, Heat 2, Heat 3 and Heat 4 will start on Pole Position and so on. b) Race Format i) Heat 1, Heat 2, Heat 3 and Heat 4: Each Heat will be a Minimum distance of 6 km expressed as a number of laps. i.e (Albury 6 laps) ii) Final: The Final will be a 50% extra distance of heats ie (Albury 10 laps) iii) The actual number of laps may be rounded up or down to the nearest number of laps. iv) The distances listed above may be increased at the discretion of the Series Organising Committee and with the approval of Karting Victoria. v) 401 points system. SERIES POINT SCORE a) The Series does not publish Series point score updates until the point score has been finalised after the final Round of the Series. b) A Driver must compete in a Class or Division at all Rounds of the Series to be eligible for Series Prizes and Awards. c) The Series classification in each Class or Division will be based on the Competitor with the highest accumulated points of all Rounds in the Series. d) A Driver must compete in all Rounds of the Series to be eligible for the end of year lucky draw prizes.
