NOTE: BIKE TRANSITION BAG Take the bike and gear ítems to Bike Check In. It will be used after the swim course to go out on the Bike Course. > Numbered Helmet. > Sunglasses. > Socks. > Bike shoes. > Nutrition products. The swim equipment, including your wetsuit, should go inside your BLUE BAG and this must be deposited in the area for bags in the first transition. The bicycle shoes can be on the bicycle pedals, but we recommend placing your shoes in the Bike Bag.

RUN TRANSITION BAG Take the Run Bag with your Bike to Bike Check In. It will be used after the Bike Course for the Run. > Running Shoes > Socks. > Sunglasses. > Cap/ visor > Bib number NOTE All the Run ítems must go inside the RED BAG, this must be deposited in the bag area in the second transition.

STREET BAG > Drop your Street bag at the Finish Line on Race day. > Collect your Street Bag when you enter the post race recovery area. > Leave materials in your Street Bag to help with recovery. Nutritional items, Jacket, supplements, etc.

SPECIAL NEEDS BAGS These bags WILL NOT be returned after the event. Do NOT put anything of value in your bike or run special needs bags. Special needs bags will NOT be returned. > Place each Special Needs Bag in their location from 4:30 AM to 6 AM > Special Needs BIKE stand: KM 60 of the route. MANDATORY - BIKE CHECK IN All bicycles must be stickered prior to Bike CHECK IN! MANDATORY - BIKE CHECK IN YOU must bring: BICYCLE, HELMET AND BICYCLE SHOES. All items must be labeled with your athlete number. BIKE TRANSITION BAG AND RUN TRANSITION BAG > Hang both bags according to your athlete number on the rack during the bike check in. > Make sure you have identified all of your bags in transition, with your assigned number.

MANDATORY - BIKE CHECK IN ONCE THE BICYCLE ENTERS THE TRANSITION IT CANNOT BE REMOVED UNTIL THE BIKE CHECK OUT. The following will be checked upon entering: > Bicycle review (braking, wheel locks, adjustment) > Checking the helmet fastens > Adhesive of the race number /stickers > Interior / exterior helmet conditions > Stickered transition bags

SWIM 3.8 KM ROLLING START GENERAL INFORMATION PLAYA BRISTOL There are no official practice swims but it is a public beach And athletes are able to swim at their own risk, please respect Any local notifications. Athletes will not be allowed to warm up at the swim start race morning ROLLING START > Athletes will enter the water from a self-seeded swim start line. > Self-seeding will be based on your individual abilities according to your expected finish time. Each athlete will be allotted 2 hours 20 minutes to complete the swim course. > Each athlete s time will begin when they cross the SWIM START mat of the swimming segment.

SWIM 3.8 KM ROLLING START THE ROLLING START TIMES > Start PRO Men - 6 AM > Start PRO Women 6:05 AM > Start AGE GROUP 6:40 AM THE ROLLING START TIMES ZONES ARE AS FOLLOWS: > Less than 60 min / 1 hour > 1 hour 1 hour30 min > 1 hour 30 min 2hours > More than 2 hours

XSXWXIM START SWIM 3.8 KM ROLLING START WETSUIT SHOWER SWIM OUT START

SWIM 3.8 KM > 2 Laps 1.900M > Buoyed Circuit > Water temperature will be announced on race morning in transition > WETSUITS will be mandatory the temperature is less than 15.9 C > Hydration station will have water after the first loop and the swim finish > Aqua socks (neoprene booties) and neoprene caps will be allowed. Official caps must be worn on top.

SWIM 3.8 KM CUT OFF > CUT OFF - Each athlete will have 2 hours 20 minutes to complete the entire course. > The swim course will close 2 hours and 20 minutes after the last athlete enters the water. Each athlete will have 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the 3.8 KM swim. Individual athletes who take longer than 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the swim will receive a DNF. SWIM CUT OFF 2 Laps x 1.900 mts. 2 hours 20 minutes.

TRANSITION 1 TAKE THE BLUE BAG > Athletes can only completely CHANGE in the change tents (not public nudity) > Put all SWIM items in the blue bag > Drop the BLUE BAG in the bag drop area after changing > Locate your bike and walk the Bike to the Mount line outside Transition > Mount the Bike after the orange mount line outside of Transition

YELLOW ZONE > YELLOW ZONE is where the race is neutralized. > The yellow no pass zone begins approximately 1 KM from transition and is about 1 KM long. It starts where cyclist can see a pedestrian bridge overhead and ends at a statue in Plaza España (a park on their left). Reverse start/finish of those locations when they are on their way back. > NO PASS ZONE > Decrease speed > Come out of aero position > PROHIBITED overtaking another athlete (keep distance from drafting)

BIKE COURSE 180 KM - CIRCUIT > The bike course is 3 loops/ 60 KM each > Each athlete will have 10 hours 30 minutes to finish the bike course from the time the start the swim. > There irs Midway cut off at 3:30 PM at 90 KM > There will be 3 hydratation stations. That will provide 8 possibilities of hydration: > AID STATION 1, KM 19 / KM 79 / KM 139 > AID STATION 2, KM 41 / KM 101 / KM 162 > AID STATION 3, KM 60 / KM 120 These will be: > Water BONAQUA. > Isotonic drink POWERADE. > Bananas. > Gels

BIKE COURSE 180 KM MECHANIC SERVICE > There are two tents located in Constitution & Mar Chiquita roundabout where athletes can cover basic needs during the competition. MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC > Bike Mechanics will be roaming the Bike Course to help athletes with any issues on course. > It is important that the athlete carries his Mechanical Kit, to be able to be self-sufficient in the race if needed. This will help you with your race time.

Littering outside areas: DISQUALIFICATION! The AREA of wastes is 100 meters before and after each hydration station.

DRAFTING > Drafting means entering into the draft zone of another athlete. This is a blue card and means a 5 minute penalty at the next penalty tent > The minimum distance that must be between the bikes is 6 bike lengths, measure the distance from your front wheel and the rear wheel of the cyclist in front of you. > You must complete your pass within 25 seconds

DRAFTING YOU CAN ONLY PASS ON THE LEFT PLEASE RIDE TO THE RIGHT! Drafting Blocking Passing on the right BLUE CARD YELLOW CARD RED CARD The minimum distance that must be between the bikes is 12 mts or 6 bike lenghts, measure the distance from your front wheel and the rear wheel of the cyclist in front of you.

PENALTY TENT > The circuit will have 2 penalty tents > Penalty tent 1: KM 19; KM 79 and KM 139 of the route. > Penalty tent 2: KM 59,5; KM 119,5 and KM 179,5 of the route. > While they are in the penalty tent the athletes may consume their own food or water. > It is prohibited to use the bathroom while serving a penalty. > It is prohibited to make adjustments to Equipment or perform maintenance on a bicycle while serving a penalty

PENALTY TENT PROCEDURE of receiving a penalty. > You must stop at the NEXT Penalty Tent after receiving a penalty. > Once you arrive, report the card color, if you report the wrong color you will receive a DSQ. > The bib will be marked with a / for each penalty. > You must register with a signature. > Once you serve your penalty, you may continue the race.

TRANSITION 2 YOU MUST DISMOUNT YOUR BIKE AT THE DISMOUNT LINE (before entering transition) > After passing your bike to a volunteer, follow the path to the GEAR BAG AREA and take your RED transition bag to the CHANGING area. > Place THE RUN BIB ON THE FRONT with your BIB number VISIBLE TO OFFICIALS. > Place ALL BIKE materials AND HELMET in transition bag.

RUN COURSE 42,2 KM Run Circuit > Maximum time of race 17 hs. > There is a midway cut off at KM 27 at 9:50 PM > There will be six (6) Aid Stations located on the course, more specifically: Northern Section > Aid Station 1, KM 2.5 (Peralta Ramos y Ayacucho) > Aid Station 2, KM 5 En el Retome (Peralta Ramos y Sagastizabal) Balneario Costa del Sol > Aid Station 3, KM 7.5 km (same location as AS 1) South Section > Aid Station 4, KM 10 Paseo Aldrey. > Aid Station 5, KM 12 Retome Varese > Aid Station 6, KM 14 (same location as AS 4) There will be: > Water BONAQUA > Isotonic drink POWERADE > Gels GENTECH > Salty Food > Coca Cola > Banana / Orange > Soup (Aid Station 1 & 3)

RUN COURSE 42,2 KM THERE WILL BE NO PENALTY TENT IN THE FOOT RACE CIRCUIT. THE PENALTY IS CARRIED OUT IN SITU.

RUN COURSE 42,2 KM SPECIAL NEEDS > Each athlete must leave THEIR RUN SPECIAL NEEDS bag in the RUN SPECIAL NEEDS location. 4:30 AM to 6 AM (Bag drop times) You will be able access at any pass, multiple times. > Special Needs RUN post: KM 13 of the route. SAG DROPOUTS > IRONMAN will provide transportation back to the transition if an athlete can no longer continue the race > Deliver the CHIP to the IRONMAN staff to report the DNF abandonment > If the SAG vehicle is full, the athlete must wait until the arrival of the next vehicle > The bikes will be taken separately and will be placed in the transition > Extraction points: SAG 1 Roundabout Mar Chiquita. SAG 2 Rotunda Constitution. SAG 3 intersection of Peralta Ramos and Alberti street.

BIKE CHECK OUT > Sunday from 6 PM to 1 AM Monday > The removal of materials is exclusive to athletes or family / friend authorized with the bike check out ticket. > The athlete receives the authorization in the kit, deliver to his family / friend prior to the race. > Only the athlete or the family may enter transition. Not both!

POST RACE > Recovery area of the athlete. Medical attention if necessary. EXCLUSIVE access for athletes ONLY! > Help the CIRCULATION to continue, do not stand in the Finish Line > Exclusive attention to the athlete Monday from 9 AM to 11 AM, at the NH Grand Hotel Provincial in Salon de Las Americas > Timing Results > Lost objects > Awards Ceremony > Monday, December 3rd at 11 AM at the NH Grand Hotel Provincial in Salon de las Americas > First 3 of each category.
