ABOUT THE (2017-18) Academic Heights Public School (AHPS) is e formal school brand from e House of Bachpan. AHPS was launched in 2009 and has 100+ schools country-wide, presently. The 3 Inter AHPS Mega Competitions came up as eventful, purposeful and most importantly, successful. Now we are back wi e edition of e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions wi some stupendous, contemporary and interesting changes. We are here wi e belief for e all-round development of e children in communication skills, academic skills and physical development etc, and also to provide a broader spectrum of competitions to encourage more and more participation of schools and our students. A large canvas of competitions widens e scope to unleash and bring to e forefront, e potential and inherent talent, aptitude and competitive skills of our students. Such events as e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions groom students to compete healily, develop sporting nature, share, learn, care and work as team, which in turn gives rise to a cohesive and tolerant society and nation. LETTER OF INVITATION Dear Directors/Principals, Greetings and good wishes to all of you. I feel extremely delighted to invite you all to e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18). It is an event where students of AHPS across e country will compete in Academics, Fine Arts and Sports competitions. The details of e Mega Event are given below. TH ( ) 2017-18 The Event : The Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18). Academic Fine Arts Sports Dates : October 2017 to 6 October 2017 Venue : Registered Office, Delhi Participation : For AHPS students only. In Academics & Fine Arts, ere will be ree categories : Primary Classes III to V Middle Classes VI to VIII Secondary Classes IX and X In sports, students will participate as per eir age groups at levels. Under 10 Born between 2007-2009 Under 12 Born between 2005-2006 Under 1 Born between 2003-200 Under 16 Born between 2001-2002 Aims & Objectives of e Event :- To facilitate meeting of AHPS students across e Nation. To ignite e competitive spirit & hunger for success. To prepare students to face competitions & challenges positively. To teach students to be humble in a win and graceful while losing (e sporting attitude). To give exposure to learning, presentation and spoken skills while bringing out e flow of creative oughts and expressions. To eliminate any form of stage fear, inferiority complex and shyness and to strengen confidence, positivity and innovation among children. To identify and bring out e refinement and appreciation towards fine arts. To enhance sportsmanship and encourage games & sports. To enhance e physical and mental fitness of e participants. To aim towards a holistic development and education. People Involved : Experts, senior teachers, subject-matter specialists, lecturers and oer such knowledgeable people from various fields will participate in e sessions and activities in order to encourage, enlighten, guide and cheer our students and instil in em e irst for more. 3

GUIDELINES 1. Dates of e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18) The event dates are from Oct., 2017 to 6 Oct., 2017. All schools are supposed to reach e venue by 12:30 p. m. on Oct., 2017 and ey will depart from e venue at 3:30 p.m. on 6 Oct., 2017. TH 2. Eligibility Criteria Only AHPS students are eligible for e competitions. Students must fulfill e age criteria according to eir classes (mentioned below). In Academics & Fine Arts, ere will be ree categories:- Primary Classes III to V Middle Classes VI to VIII Secondary Classes IX and X In sports, students will participate as per eir age groups at levels. Under 10 Born between 2007-2009 Under 12 Born between 2005-2006 Under 1 Born between 2003-200 Under 16 Born between 2001-2002 3. Registration All e schools have to register emselves online only. Schools will fill e details of participants and eir participating events online only. After filling e details online, your forms will be directly shifted to payment gateway (i.e. online payment mode). Once e fee is transferred online, only en e form will be submitted. No offline forms will be accepted.. Total No. of Participants Allowed: 650 Due to limited spaces and resources only 650 students from across India will be able to participate in e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18) on a first come first serve basis. Once e enrollment reaches 650, no form will be accepted irrespective of e last date. 5. Participation Fee Participation fee is `2750 + Taxes per child per event. This fee is non-refundable. Once e details (name of event & fee ) are filled and submitted, no changes are allowed. 5

TH 6. Late Fees Till 10 August, 2017 e fee will be `2750/- + Taxes. From 10 August to 25 August 2017 e fee will be `3750/- + Taxes. Late fee is applicable only till 25 August, 2017. After 25 August, 2017 no form will be accepted (even wi late fee). Special note:- Late fee concept will be applicable if ere will be vacant seats. If all e seats are filled already en, late fee concept would not be applicable. 7. Accommodation The accommodation arrangements will be in place at e venue only. 2 Separate Hostels available 1 Boys Hostel 1 Girls Hostel Beddings will be spread on e floor only. No beds available Rooms will be on sharing basis Non-AC Accommodation Common Toilets Upper Floors No lifts available Special Note:- No Accommodation will be provided even for one day/night before or after e event. If required, you have to pay `600/- extra for stay and dinner of 6 Oct., 2017 and `200/- extra for breakfast of 7 Oct., 2017. Please note at you have to vacate e premises latest by 7.00 a.m on 7 Oct., 2017 (irrespective of e extra amount paid by you). 8. If more teachers/members/directors want to come and attend is event, ey are allowed to come on a minimal charge of `2750/- + Taxes per person, if booked before 10 Aug., 2017 or `3750/- + Taxes, If booked between 10 Aug., 2017 to 25 Aug., 2017. 7

Pick & Drop facility Pick & Drop facility is available only from e railway station to e venue and vice-versa. Schools, who want to avail is facility are suggested to give eir arrival & departure details as early as possible. No one from e Regd. Office will be available at e stations. You will have to reach e parking lot where your AC buses would be waiting to drop you to e venue. Details like bus numbers, driver's name and contact no. will be provided to you in advance. 11. Contact Details Schools are supposed to nominate and share contact no. of any one teacher coordinator/leader of your school. He/she will be known as school leader. He/she will have to wear a leader's cap of his/her name (provided by e Regd. Office). Regd. Office will communicate wi leaders only. It is advised to share his/her mobile no. wi relationship officer as early as possible. 12. Medical Assistance In case of any emergency, an ambulance and first-aid facilities will be available 2x7 at e campus. An emergency number will also be displayed at e venue. 13. Widrawal Each student can take part only in one event. So if she/he wants to swipe e event, she/he will not be allowed to do so. If one wants to widraw en she/he may but e fees will not be refundable. 8

FAQ's Q.1 What are e dates of e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18)? Ans. Dates of e Inter AHPS Mega Competitions (2017-18) are from Oct., 2017 to 6 Oct., 2017. Q.2 When and where will we get e itinerary of is program? Ans. All e schools must report at e venue by 12:30 p.m. on Oct., 2017 and will leave on 6 Oct., 2017 after p.m. The Program Itinerary will be provided at e Reception on Oct., 2017. Q.3 From where will we get e forms and oer details? Ans. All communication will be done online, including filling e registration forms, submissions, payments, confirmations, list of participants, etc. Q. Can we register e names by sending hard copies to e Regd. Office? Ans. No, only online entries will be accepted. The participation form and oer details must be filled and sent online because is time, Registered Office will not be handling e registration process at all. The task has been outsourced and e Regd. Office will get e final list only. Q.5 Can we contact e Regd. Office to confirm our registration? Ans. The Regd. Office cannot help you in enrollments. You have to fill e forms online which will be recorded by a separate company. They will confirm your registration rough mails only. The enrollment process will start from 10 June 2017. Q.7 What is last date for online registration? Ans. The last date for online registration is 10 August. Q.8 What is e participation fee for is event? Ans. The participation fee is ` 2750/- + Taxes per student per event. Q.9 Are ere any oer charges except e participation fee of `2750/- + Taxes? Ans. Till 10 August, 2017, each student has to pay `2750/- + Taxes only. If e student registers between 10 August 2017 and 25 August 2017. She/he has to pay `3750/- + Taxes per person [`1000/- as late fee + `2750/-]. All e meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Evening tea/snacks) will be provided at e scheduled timings. No meal will be served in between. If any student wants to buy/eat anying from canteen/grocery shop, she/he can do it after paying from his/her pocket. But we don't ink ere will be any such requirement. Q.10 Is e participation fee refundable? Ans. No, e participation fee is non-refundable. Q.11 What amenities/facilities are included in e participation fee? Ans. The participation fee includes Pick & drop from New Delhi Railway Station to venue & vice versa. 2 nights stay All meals (For 3 days i.e. Oct. 2017 to 6 Oct. 2017) A Kit (having a T-shirt, I-card and Leader's cap). One teacher is allowed free of cost to accompany 10 students. Office will not pay any amount for your travel from your state to Delhi or vice-versa. Only pick and drop facility wiin Delhi will be provided. Q.16 How can we reach e venue after reaching Delhi? Ans. You will send your arrival & departure details to e Registered Office by 15 August, 2017. On at basis, Pick and drop facility will be provided to you by e Regd. Office and details of pick & drop (vehicle/timings) will be given to you before your arrival in Delhi. Q.17 Will anyone from e Registered Office be available for pick up? Ans. No one will be available from e Registered Office for pick up. Google maps of e station will be available on e website. You will have to reach e parking lot where your buses would be waiting to drop you to e venue. Details of bus numbers, drivers etc. will be given. Q.18 Can we come to e venue on 5 Oct., 2017 just before e start of e events? Ans. No one will be allowed to enter e venue after 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 2017. Q.19 Will e Registered Office provide us pick up and accommodation a day/night before e event? Ans. No. e Registered Office will not provide any pick up or accommodation a day/night before or after e event. If required, kindly refer special note of Accommodation in Guidelines.
