INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SPORT FEDERATION & UNION NATIONALE DU SPORT SCOLAIRE (UNSS) WORLD SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL 14/04 22/04/2013 Bordeaux - France BULLETIN 2 We have pleasure in sending you Bulletin 2 for the World Schools Championship ISF Football 2013 which will take place from 14th till 22nd April 2013 in Bordeaux France. The championship is organised by the Union Nationale du Sport Scolaire according to International School Sport Federation competition rules. This bulletin contains further information to that published in Bulletin 1. The following countries have indicated an interest in taking part in this event : update 1 st November Boys school teams : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, PR China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine. Girls school teams : Belgium, PR China, Chinese Taipei, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey. 1. Composition of teams and conditions of entry. (see also bulletin 1 which you can find on the ISF website www.isfsports.org) 1.1. School teams must provide a document certifying that each student of the team is enrolled at that school from the beginning of the school year. 1.2. A full delegation will comprise 43 persons (and eventually 2 additional persons). 1.3. Before the start of the Competition each delegation shall present to the Control Commission: - payment of the balance owing or proof that this has been paid, - for each participant, a passport or official identity card bearing photo, surname, forename, date of birth and nationality, - the document certifying that each student of the school team is normally registered at that school from the beginning of the school year. 2. Dates. 2.1. Delegations are to arrive on 14th April 2013. 2.2. Delegations are to depart after breakfast on 22nd April 2013. 2.3. When the distance between Bordeaux (France) and the capital of a participating country on another continent exceeds 5000 kilometres the delegation may extend their stay by arriving one day earlier or leaving one day later. 2.4. The organisation of an extended stay for the delegation (before or after the event) is a matter for the country concerned. It shall not be the responsibility of the OC. 2.5. The organiser will be able to give you information on alternative accommodation in the area for your use outside the period of the World Championship and for those accompanying the delegation. 3. Board, Lodging and Services. 3.1. Students will be accommodated in 2 to 4 bedded rooms. Adults acting as Heads of Delegation, ISF delegates, members of the ISF Technical Commission for Football will be accommodated in single rooms. Coaches/teachers and referees will be accommodated in twin bedded rooms. 3.2. Meals will be taken at a single and central location near to the accommodation and venues. Arrival day : lunch and/or dinner (according to arrival time) Other days : breakfast lunch dinner. Departure day : breakfast lunch or packed meal (according to departure time and to meals on arrival day). An additional lunch on the departure day can be served on prior request at the price of 12 per person. All travel from the accommodation to the restaurant and the playing grounds on days 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 will be done walking. The walking time is between 8 to 15 minutes. A system for transporting the sport bags in minibus will be set up for the most remote hotels. Travel on days 4 and 7, the cultural day and the finals will be provided by the OC, either by bus or by tram. 3.3. A medical service will be available throughout the duration of the Championship. 3
4. General rules. These rules will apply to all teams and participants and will remain fixed for the duration of this World Schools Championship. 4.1. The Organising Committee will be responsible for the running and control of the World Schools Championship. 4.2. The World Schools Championship is organised according to ISF rules and to current FIFA rules. 4.3. The Organising Committee will nominate a Control Commission, a Disciplinary Commission and an Appeal Jury. Their responsibilities will be specified in Bulletin 3. 5. Note concerning Bulletin 3. 5.1. The link to the definitive electronic entry form will be sent to participating countries in good time. On this form you will be required to give the following information : a. name of country b. name of the organisation responsible for school sport c. name of head of delegation d. names of teachers / coaches e. names of referees f. names of students g. dates of birth of students h. names of boys and girls school teams schools i. names of additional persons j. precise information on travel times k. particular dietary requirements l. special requests m. photos Please have this information available one month before the start of the event. 5.2. The 3 rd Bulletin will give you further information about the social-cultural programme, the definitive event programme and the composition of the Control Commission, the Disciplinary Commission and the Appeal Jury. 6. Visa information. Please check if your country needs visa to enter France. 7. Registration. The electronic entry registration form 2 (click here) should be duly completed on behalf of the organisation responsible for school sport and returned to the Secretariat General at the latest by 31 st December 2012. If you have not yet paid the deposit, you must do so by return! 4
