Welcome to Meadowview Farm s 2018 Autumn Classic & Medal Finals! We are glad you and your horse are joining us for our 32nd year of presenting horse shows and welcome you to our annual Autumn Classic and LEHS Medal Finals Horse Show. This year we are offering a two day show with classes Saturday and Sunday, with all LEHS Medal Finals beginning Sunday morning. Please note that while the Medal Finals are by invitation only (those who have qualified); all other classes are open as usual to all exhibitors. Before we begin the Hunter Classic Saturday evening, the DRAW for the medal finals orders of go will take place under the red and white tent. All exhibitors are invited! A party including refreshments will be hosted by Les and Cathy Johnson. Horses may arrive on Friday for schooling. Times and schedule may be adjusted according to the entries, so please mail yours early! Please note that all entries must be received by 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 11th. The Meadowview Farm Hunter Classic and a special Up and Coming Classic will take place at the conclusion of both rings on Saturday evening. For all of your food needs during the show, Cathy s Cube (MVF food stand) will have a great menu including their famous smoothies! MEADOWVIEW FARM INC., Horse Show Rules and Regulations ENTRIES: Entries close the Tuesday before the horse show. NO FAX, PHONE OR ONLINE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. A flat post entry fee of $10 will be charged for those not entered by 6:00 pm Tuesday evening. All entry forms must be signed by the owner or his/her authorized agent and trainer, and accompanied by a signed check for all fees made payable to Meadowview Farm Inc. All riders must have a signed entry form in the show office before they school in any ring. FEES: Entry Fees: Classic: EMT; Stalls: Shavings: Camper: Non Showing Horse Fee: $18.00 per class (including Medals) $20.00 per class $10.00 per horse $70.00 per horse per weekend $8.00 per bag $80.00 per weekend (please call in advance) $50 per horse per weekend Entry Fees are refundable with a vet certificate before the end of show hours only. STABLING: Limited stabling is available on a first-pay-first-serve basis. No stall refunds given. First bedding provided. SCHOOLING: Available during the following times (subject to change): Friday 12:00pm dusk, Saturday 6:00 7:30am, Sunday 6:00 7:30am. MEDIC: An EMT medic will be on duty the day of the show. HEADGEAR: All riders MUST wear approved (ASTM/SEI certified) helmets with harness secured while mounted on the show grounds. Adults are required to wear hard hats while jumping on the show grounds. NO SMOKING in the barn or indoor arena! NO DOGS ALLOWED! Visiting dogs are a disturbance to the exhibitors, so please leave your dogs at home for safety reasons. GENERAL INFORMATION: Management reserves the right to combine, divide or cancel classes. All classes shall follow the AHSA rules and/or LEHS rules. Braiding is optional but encouraged for Medal Finals. Meadowview Farm Inc. will not be held responsible for any accidents, damages or losses to exhibitors property or livestock. No rider over 12 years of age may compete on a Small pony. No rider over 14 years of age may compete on a Medium pony. Pony riders may choose 2 or 2 3 with or without oxers. Please declare with the starter before the start of the pony division. All riders must declare their fence height with the starter, when applicable, before the class begins. A first place award and six ribbons will be awarded for each class, and a Championship and Reserve Championship will be awarded in all divisions. Meadowview Farm Up and Coming Classic A special class for the Autumn Classic based on the Meadowview Farm Hunter Classic. Two judges will score each rider numerically. Riders will choose crosspoles or 1 9. An order of go will be posted. Meadowview Farm Hunter Classic - To follow the draw for Medal Finals order of go. Two judges will score the first round numerically. Course will be built using both rings. Riders choose 2 without oxers or 2 6 with oxers. Order of go will be posted. Obstacles will include natural and show ring type jumps. Course will include bending lines, non related distance lines and long run. Top 12 scores will return for the Handy Round of at least 8 obstacles. Options available to show handy hunter abilities; hand gallop, trot and walk. Handy points can be awarded 0-10. Trophy and 12 ribbons will be awarded.
