3. Competition Venue The Venue that will stage all the competition is Beach Center. Address: Krutvägen 6, 415 28 Göteborg How to get to the Venue: Address: Krutvägen 6, 415 28 Göteborg By flight: Airport Landvetter. For easy transportation, http://flygbussarna.se/en Airport to Göteborg. By bus/tram: From Göteborg Central Station, tram 7 or 11 (Kviberg) or by bus 58 (Brovägen) 4. Preliminary Inquiry The Preliminary inquiry is mandatory for all participating teams. Location: Beach Center If a team does not show, the open spot will be granted to the highest ranked teams from the waiting list that have signed in at the preliminary inquiry. Should teams have equal points a draw will be done to see which team/s will enter the tournament. The teams will show at least 2 sets of different colored uniforms as well as a form of identification. Please bring proof of payment of entry fee. 5. Withdrawal of team Withdrawal of teams must be directly sent to NF responsible: Saffet Eraybar, info@volleyboll.se 6. Reserve list/waiting list If a team does not show up at the technical meeting, the open spot will be granted to one of the two highest ranked team from the waiting list that have signed in before the technical meeting. 7. Player's uniform Each participating team must have similar uniforms with clearly visible numbers in accordance with the CEV regulations (approx. 2,5 x 5,5 cm for women sport tops and 8 x 10 cm for other sport uniforms). It is obligatory with printed numbers on the player s uniforms no exceptions will be accepted. Se regulations. 8. Financial Matters Each participating team will cover their own travel cost from the port of entry to the venue and the return journey. Price Money: 1000 EUR for men / 1000 EUR for women. 1st place: 500 EUR 2nd place: 300 EUR 3rd place: 200 EUR
The fee per team is 100 EUR to be paid to the organizer. All teams must bring a printed receipt to the technical meeting as proof of payment. Payment should be made by 2 nd of November to the Svenska Volleyevent AB. In case of a delay of payment the team can loose its right to participate in the competition. Competition Schedule The competition format is double elimination and the maximum number of teams is 16 (main draw, no qualification). This is a preliminary schedule, a more detailed tentative competition schedule will be released as soon as registration deadline has passed and the number of teams has been confirmed. The match schedule will be released 45 min after the end of the technical meeting. Friday: November 3 rd 08.00-08.30 Preliminary Inquiry 10.00 Matches start Saturday: November 4 th 08.00 Matches start Sunday: November 5 th 09.00 Matches start 15.00 Women's final (approximately) 16.00 Men's final (approximately) After the men's final price ceremony will take place for both gender. Top three teams have mandatory attendance at the award ceremony at the end of the competition/finals. 11. Results Schedule, results and photos will be updated on the facebook event during the event, published as soon as possible after the technical meeting on Friday 6th. Important information Play it clean To be able to register for or participate in a NEVZA Zonal event players must have completed the FIVB antidoping program Play it Clean. Halloween Cup & Halloween Party Nevza Beach Sweden is played side by side with Halloween Cup, which is a tournament on a national level below Nevza Beach Sweden. This will bring for example more audience for the matches. On Saturday evening, we will host a party for all participants of the tournaments. Costume preferred, since it's a Halloween Party, but of course you can come as you are. There will be dancing and prizes for best costume. There are of course food and drinks available for purchase for those who want to. 15. Restaurant and hotel In the venue Beach Center there's a restaurant, Beach Cuisine. During Nevza Beach Sweden there will be a special players menu. There is a hotel just next to Beach Center, Kviberg Park Hotel & Conference, which we recommend.
