J A N U A R Y 2 0 1 8 the Falcon Flyer North Vermillion Jr Sr High School School Delays and Closures As you know, North Vermillion Jr. Sr. High School uses the School Messenger calling system to notify you of any school delays, closings or other important issues that may arise. Since notification is made by telephone it is very important that we have a current phone Indiana Weather Once again we are in the midst of our ever-changing Indiana weather! We all know how our weather can fluctuate in just a matter of hours here at North Vermillion. Please remember to keep warm clothes in your car or book bag just in case you might need them. You never know when warmer clothes might come in handy. number at which you may be reached. On our webpage you will find Delays and Cancellations with a traffic light located on the home page. The traffic light reflects our status and a message will appear under it specifying date, type of delay or closure. As a reminder if there is a 2-hour delay on early dismissal days, school will dismiss at 3:05 at the Elementary and 3:15 at the High School.

The North Vermillion Visual Art department is making bowls again this year to donate to the 2018 Catholic Charities Soup Bowl Fundraiser. "We are proud to be one of the biggest donators to this worth cause, the students do a great job. Last year we made about 150 bowls!" said NV Art Teacher Charles Wagoner Tickets are now available to purchase online or by mail to: Catholic Charities-Soup Bowl, 1801 Poplar St., Terre Haute, IN 47803. Include a note with a reservation form with your preferred seating time of 3:30pm or 5:30pm. NVHS s Theatre Arts Department to Present Rodgers and Hammerstein s CINDERELLA NVHS s Theatre Arts Dept. will present Rodgers and Hammerstein s CINDERELLA (Enchanted Version) on March 15 17.
