2013 2014 SHORT TERM SUMMER CAMP BEAUTY UNDER THE SEA & BEAUTY OVER THE SEA FROM THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH TURKIYE SAMSUN ROTARY CLUB & MERSIN ROTARY CLUB 6 th 21 st JULY 2013 The programme of SAMSUN ROTARY CLUB Beauty Under the Sea (DIVING) The programme will give chance to the young people to learn how to dive during the camp and have an International certificate, CMAS. During the whole week they will have diving lesson in the morning and then have folk dance lessons in the afternoon. Double practise and enjoyment It is very important for exchange students since they will be under 18, to send by email first and then to bring the permission of their parents for scuba diving. 6th 7th JULY Greeting and meeting at Samsun Carsamba Airport with Club members and families 7th JULY (Sunday, 11:00) Having traditional breakfast Samsun Pide together with the club members and host families and our young guests. 8th JULY (Monday, 8:30 16:30) Visiting municipality and city mayor Samsun city tour having lunch together the folk dance lesson 1

12th JULY (Friday) 8:00 Driving to Sinop (western Blacksea) for sea scuba diving 16:00 Late lunch in city center of Sinop 17:00 Return to Samsun 13th JULY (Saturday) 8:30 Goodbye to host families and driving to Central Anatolia Cappadocia. We will stay one night in a nice hotel in that area and visit historical places with a guide. "The Cappadocia name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage. 14th JULY (Sunday) 9:00 Breakfast in the hotel 10:00 Visiting historical places practising to make pots shopping 13:00 Meeting with Mersin Rotary Club in Cappadocia 14:00 Moving to Mersin Beauty Over the Sea Our guest students will all stay with families. They will all be held at the airport by their families. Diving Courses will be given by the experienced fishermen (TSSF CMAS). The diving Course includes 3 days in the swimming pool and 1 day in the sea. If the students want, they will be given an International Certificate (CMAS). CMAS * SCUBA Diver or just CMAS * is an entry level diving certification for recreational SCUBA issued by Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). The students will pay 175 Euros for the camp (for the equipment supply) and they will pay 80 Euros for the International Certificate (given by CMAS) (if they want to have certificate).

During the whole week they will have sailing lesson in the morning. It is very important for exchange students who are under 18, they suppose to bring the permission for swimming from their relatives. 14th JULY (Sunday) Greeting and meeting at the Cappadocia with Club members and families. Goodbye to Samsun Rotary members Cappadocia and moving to Mersin. 15th JULY (Monday) 09.00 12.00 Sailing lessons with the teachers at the Mersin Bay 13.00 15.00 Mersin City tour. 19:30 22:00 Beach Party with host families and club members

They will all be held at the Cappadocia by Mersin Rotary members. Sailing Courses will be given by the experienced teachers. The sailing Course includes 5 days in the sea. If the students want who have an International Certificate (CMAS). CMAS * SCUBA Diver or just CMAS *, they can dive on Saturday.
