Sergei Aschwanden Directeur de la station de Villars Words of welcome by the organisers Welcome to the Junior European Cup 2018 in Villars-sur-Ollon in the Swiss Alps! The three organizing clubs have come up with an exciting programme, which will unite the best juniors of Europe with the Swiss orienteering elite and recreational runners. For you, junior elite runners, our goal is to offer you challenging races and to present your performance in an exciting way to the public. For all of you, our special focus is on the variety of your orienteering experiences. With its spectacular landscapes and friendly towns, the Chablais region of the cantons Vaud and Valais offers a great range of possibilities. To go orienteering is, of course, the best activity, but a thrilling climb to a mountain top, a relaxing stay in a thermal bath or a cultural city tour could make it worthwhile for you to stay in this area for a full week.
