Primary Routes of Exposure: Eye Contact Skin Contact Potential Acute Health Effects: Eye: May cause eye irritation. Skin: Prolonged contact may cause skin irritation. Ingestion: May cause gastrointestinal irritation and nausea may occur if swallowed. Page 1 of 6 pages.

Inhalation: Although inhalation is not considered a significant route of exposure, high vapor concentrations may cause respiratory irritation. Potential Chronic Health Effects: None known. (See also Sections 4, 8, and 11 for related information) Section 4 First Aid Measures Eye contact: Flush eye with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Ingestion: If swallowed, call a physician or poison control center. Inhalation: If exposed to excessive levels of vapor, remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if cough or other symptoms persist. Section 5 Fire Fighting Measures Flash Point (method): Extinguishing Media: involving this material. Not Determined (estimated to be above 200 F). Use water spray, foam, or carbon dioxide when fighting fires Protection of Firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure demand mode and full protective gear. Section 6 Accidental Release Measures Clean Up Methods: Keep unnecessary people away. Dike and contain spill with inert material (sand, earth, etc.). Transfer liquid to containers for recovery or disposal, or absorb with absorbent materials and place into containers for disposal. Keep spill out of sewer and open bodies of water. Floors may be slippery; care should be exercised to avoid falls during clean up operations. (See also Section 8 for information on Exposure Controls and Personal Protective Equipment) Section 7 Handling and Storage Handling: Storage: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
