INTRODUCTION We are delighted to announce our first ever Summer Ski and Snowboard Camp. Over the past 14 years of running our Winter event, we have seen schools ski racing and competition go from strength to strength. There are now more pupils than ever giving racing a go, as well as competing to a high level. With this increase in participation comes a greater demand for more race events on the calendar, and also a growing demand to try different disciplines. Les Deux Alpes has a thriving Summer race and freestyle scene, and having spent the necessary time out there planning we are very excited to be offering a Summer programme here, to support our December event. In the spirit of our Winter programme the package is fully inclusive with flights, transfers, full board accommodation, 6 morning s coaching as well as a host of Summer alpine activities to enjoy. The mountains in the Summer are a beautiful and action fuelled environment, and we plan to encapsulate a truly unique Summer mountain experience for all involved. See you out there! TESTIMONIALS Whilst 2019 will be the first year of the event we have been running the Independents Schools Ski Championships since 2005, and here are a few example testimonials. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and everyone s company. I think it was a unique experience for all of us; we haven t been on tours or EC visits where we really got to know staff from other schools, and our pupils got to mix with other pupils before. We all felt like we were welcomed into the fold and given help and advice at every turn. I think once we tell everyone back here how it went (and how well organised it was), and the other kids see the video footage (especially at our Prep Schools) we will be able to attract plenty of interest for next year. SIMON NORRIS - LANCING COLLEGE I wanted to write to say a huge thank you for the brilliant trip in Les Deux Alpes. I was very impressed with the trip organisation from start to finish and we really felt very well looked after. Your whole team were outstanding, and from being involved in various sports over the years, the ski racing was one of the most exciting events I have ever witnessed! I ve also done a number of ski trips, and this one was by far the most relaxing and fun. GRAHAM BAILY BLUNDELL S SCHOOLL We ve been coming every year, it is a great way to start the season, and it is just really well run! JON CHESWORTH - KINGS COLLEGE WIMBLEDON 15
