Adopt Agenda Motion: To adopt Agenda Moves: Lori Seconds: Austin Unanimous approval Resolved: Agenda Adopted Approval of Minutes Motion: To approve the Minutes of June 5th, 2017 SCC meeting. Moves: Ann Seconds: Eithan Unanimous approval Resolved: Minutes approved without modification. Reports: President (Franny) Raina would like to step down as Social Director. Thank you for your service Raina. Franny will write a request for a new Social Director to fill the vacancy on the SCC Board. To appear in the next newsletter. Franny is now an administrator of the SCC Facebook page. All requests should go to Franny, hence forward. We received an email with a concern regarding the fee of $5 being charged for SCC trips. They think that the membership fees should include the cost of using boats on trips. Discussion: We feel it holds people accountable for the boats, helps improve commitment, cost is already very reasonable and helps cover wear and tear on trailer. Discussion, regarding not charging for children on SCC trips. Page 2

Motion: Change of current policy to be $5 per person, per day, excluding children. Moves: Kate Seconds: Eithan 6 members Not in favour, 5 In favour. * BlackSun and GeoTrust premium paid for July, 2017 to July, 2018. ISC officer changes have been made on line (online services user name and password have been set up). We have a limit of 12 directors so I only registered 12, although we have 13. Discussion, we will leave at 12. $30 late fee will be charged. ISC Article amendments: special on-line submission with a $20 fee if we want to delete the Whitewater division. Right now it states that we have 3 divisions, Marathon, Recreation and Whitewater. Kate will update the removal for ISC. With our discount we saved $1403.00. Recreation boat repairs paid to Eb s - $66.51 Kate to clarify the amount of $1000 in Accounts Receivable. To Kate s knowledge, there is no one owing SCC any money, so should read $0.
