For example: Brantford Aquatic Club Blue; Brantford Aquatic Club White both with up to 40 swimmers. Each Club shall enter one full entry file, and then email the Meet Manager with the names for each sub-team. The teams will be scored as unique teams. Meet will be capped at a maximum of 800 swimmers. Entry Process Submission: All entries must be submitted via the online entries system - https://www.swimming.ca Once an entry file is uploaded, the entry system will automatically email a confirmation of entries. Once received, clubs have 48 hours after the entry deadline to review this file and make corrections/modifications to entries. A successful entry file upload is only the validation of membership entry information against the national membership and entry validation DOES NOT guarantee a club s entries will be accepted by Swim Ontario. Clubs are required to submit the Club Information Sheet & Substitutes Form found in Appendix B and C when they submit entries. Entries submitted without the Club Information sheet & Substitutes Form may not be accepted. Entries found to not be in compliance with entry requirements may result in individual swimmer and club being ineligible for entry into the competition. Accepted or rejected entries will be identified with a second notification from Brantford Aquatic Club. Brantford Aquatic Club reserved the right to reject an entry file for lack of compliance in entry times, failure to submit the file before the entry deadline, failure to provide required documents, or any other lack of compliance with Swim Ontario meet policy and procedure. Substitutes: In the event that one (1) or more of a team's entered swimmers cannot attend the meet, the coach may designate substitutes from any age group or gender for a full complement of swimmers. Substitutes from the declared list must be designated immediately at or prior to arrival to meet management. Will not be accepted after the start of the meet. Will not be seeded according to entry times Will be placed into empty lanes Only if the number of substitutes warrant, an additional heat will be established for an event. Times: Seeding: Entry Maximum: Alternate Swim: Entries are to be submitted UNCONVERTED. SCM & LCM accepted. YARDS times are not accepted. After all times have been verified, Meet Management will convert all times to SCM. Maximum of 7 individual events per swimmer Swimmers entering the 800/1500 free must designate an eighth (8th) swim as an alternate event which they may swim if they fail to make the event. The alt checkbox in Team Manager must be selected to indicate the alternative swim (this will appear as an A on the Entry report). Psych Sheets: Deck and time trial entries: Psych Sheets will be posted online at www.brantfordaquaticclub.ca by noon 5 days prior to the competition December 9, 2018 No deck entries or time trial entries are allowed Registration Information Team Registration: On Deck Meeting Room, December 14, 2018 One coach designate from each team must register the following: List of coaches attending (see CSCTA Policy, SNC Coach Registration Policy and Swim ON Policy) Payment Substitutes declaration if any CSCTA Policy SNC Coach registration Policy: Swim Ontario Policy: Swim Ontario Facility Rules: Coaches Meeting: Records: As per the CSCTA/SOCC/SNC/ coach registration policies and insurance all coaches will be asked to prove membership in CSCTA. Coaches will not receive heat sheets if they cannot prove CSCTA membership. Coaches must have CSCTA ID for deck access. The SNC coach registration policy states that all coaches attending any sanctioned competition must have a minimum NCCP coaching status. Swim Ontario has created a coach compliant list. (See full SNC Coach Registration Policy and Coach Compliant List at www.swimontario.com). All teams must submit a list of coaches attending at the time of entry. Meet management will cross-reference this list with the Swim Ontario Coach Compliant list both prior to the competition as well as at Registration. Coaches found not to be on the compliant list will not be eligible to be on deck. Only Competitors, Certified Coaches and Officials are allowed on the west side of the pool deck. NO OTHER PERSON IS PERMITTED ON DECK unless expressly authorized by the Meet Manager or Swim Ontario. Starts will be conducted from starting platforms (blocks) as per FINA FR.2.3 and SW. 4.1 (from the deep end and in the 25m pool) December 14, 2018, On Deck Meeting Room @ 2:10 p.m. if required Swim Ontario has a completed certified pool length survey (50m pool only) for the aforementioned swimming pool and swim times achieved at this competition will be eligible for provincial or national records. Swim times achieved in the 25m pool at this competition will NOT be used for applications of provincial and national records. General Meet Rules - Swimming Canada and Swim Ontario rules will be in effect Warm-Up Safety Procedures: Warm-up/Cool-down: Swimwear: All current Swimming/Natation Canada rules will be followed. Please note Swimming Canada Competition Warm-up Safety Procedures will be in effect. Swimmers witnessed by a Safety Marshall diving or entering the water in a dangerous fashion may be removed without warning from their first individual event following the warm-up period in which the violation occurred. Preliminaries: Finals: Timed Final events: Preliminary heats will be swum senior seeded (top 3 heats circle seeded) In each finals event all female age groups will swim, followed by all male age groups; there is an A final only for all events. All 10&U and 11-12 events, 400 Free, 400 IM, 800 Free/1500 Free & all Relays 400 Free and IM: All 400m events will be swum as timed finals seeded by age group and gender. Positive check-in by (30 mins before start of session) on the day of the respective event 800 and 1500 Free: All distance events will be swum as timed finals seeded fastest to slowest by gender. The 800 events are limited to the top 24 swimmers in each of the following age groups:11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17&O The 1500 events are limited to the top 24 swimmers in each of the following age groups:13-14, 15-16, 17&O There are NO SUBSTITUTIONS in the 800 and 1500 events Positive check-in by (30 mins before start of session) on the day of the respective distance event Meet management reserves the right to alternate genders and/or swim 2 per lane. Relays: All relays are Time Finals. The 12 & under relays will be swum in the 12 & under sessions, and the 13 & over relays will be swum during the Finals sessions. NO OFFICIAL RESULTS WILL BE POSTED FOR CLUBS WITH 2 OR MORE TEAMS. Teams are limited to one (1) relay entry per event. PLEASE DO NOT MIX ATHLETES BETWEEN TEAMS, IF ENTERING 2 OR MORE TEAMS. Coaches must have relay cards filled in and returned to the Clerk of the Course 30 minutes prior to the start of the session. Relay name changes can be done up until 30 minutes before the start of the event. Dive Starts: As per the Facility Rules for Dive Starts, this competition will be conducted as follows: Starts will be conducted from Starting Platforms (blocks) as per FINA FR 2.3 and SW 4.1 from deep end only of 50m pool and secondary 25m pool. Official Splits Swim Offs Meet Management requires that any coach wishing to rely on a time achieved by the swimmer for an interval shorter than the total distance of the event must advise the Referee prior to the commencement of the event in question on the Official Split Request form prior to the race. All swim-offs are to be run during or at the end of the session in which the tie occurred at a time mutually agreed upon by coaches and officials. Scratch Rules 13 & Over sessions: Timed Final events: (400m events, Distance and Relays) Scratch Rules The deadline for scratches for timed final events is 30 minutes before the start of the preliminary event on the day the event is scheduled to begin. Meet Management will ensure a full

complement of swimmers with no empty lanes for the fastest heat. Scratch Rules 12 & Under sessions: Finals: Penalty: All events Penalty: All Scratches from Finals must be provided to Clerk of Course within 30 minutes after the posting results of each event during Prelim sessions of Prelim events to allow proper seeding and notification of alternates. Failure to participate in an Individual Final, Leg of a Relay Final, or in the fastest heat of Time Final event (400 FR/IM/800/1500 FR) without meet management's knowledge and consent will result in a $50 fine for each offence payable to Brantford Aquatic Club. Failure to pay before the swimmer s next event will exclude the swimmer from any further participation in the meet. Positive check-in for all swimmers is required 30 minutes prior to the start of the 12 & under time finals session to ensure the fastest heat of each age group is full. Scratching from the fastest heat of a time final after the final scratch deadline without meet management s knowledge and consent will result in a $50.00 fine for each offence. Payment is due to Brantford Aquatic Club. Failure to pay before the swimmer s next event will exclude the swimmer from any further participation in the meet. Only the top eight (8) individual events and relays score: Individual Events: 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relay Events: 18-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 Event Awards: Medals: first through third for each age category and gender Ribbons: Fourth through eighth for each age category and gender Team Awards: High Point Team- Overall The club with the highest points will be awarded a high point team banner.

Appendix A Facility Policy Swimmers may not use the change rooms until after 2:30pm on Wednesday. Meet participants are to use the three (3) 65 m change rooms throughout the meet, leaving the three (3) 25 m (smaller) change rooms for the WGSC participants. Outdoor shoes must not be worn on the pool deck and on bulkheads. Indoor footwear, booties or bare feet only. All clubs attending the meet must be affiliated with Swim Ontario and insured through the same organization or provide insurance. Clubs from Quebec or other provinces or those not affiliated with Swim Ontario must provide a certificate of insurance in the amount of $5,000,000 minimum, and name the Corporation of the City of Brantford and the Brantford Aquatic Club as additionally insured. Certified coaches, athletes registered in the competition and meet officials only are allowed in the water. General public or relatives of meet participants and officials will not be allowed in the pool. Meet participants and/or spectators may make use of the regular facility services if they pay the regular admission at the cash desk. Regular Fitness class schedule (excluding Aquafit) will also be running. There is to be no swimming under the bulkheads. All patrons must shower before entering the pool. Food and beverages are permitted in the lobby only. Glass objects are not to be taken into shower or change areas or onto the deck. The Wayne Gretzky Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Staff are instructed not to check any valuable personal items. It is recommended that patrons lock valuables in lockers. Use of these facilities is at the users own risk. Deck changing is not permitted. Bus Drop offs should be at the front loop of the new facility entrance.

Appendix D SANCTIONED EVENTS PHOTOGRAPHY Procedure Guidelines for Use of Photographic / Filming Equipment at Swim Ontario Designated and Swim Ontario Sanctioned Competitions Only individuals that have made application and received authorization to record the event shall be granted access and permission to do so. Professional photographers/ filming / video operators wishing to record the event should seek accreditation and approval with the event organiser by producing their professional identification for the details to be recorded. Ideally they should request this at least 5 working days before the event. Students or amateur photographers / film / video operators wishing to record the event should seek accreditation and approval with the event organiser by producing their student or club registration identification and a letter from their club / educational establishment outlining their motive for attending the event. All other spectators wishing to use photographic / film / video equipment with a telescopic or zoom lens should register their intent with the promoter of the event for authorization.
