CHRISTINE E. LYNN WOMENS HONORARY GUEST SPEAKER: BARB SCHMIDT Barb Schmidt is a businesswoman, philanthropist, and the author of the bestselling book The Practice: Simple Tools for Managing Stress, Finding Inner Peace and Uncovering Happiness. Barb has been studying and teaching meditation and the power of mindfulness for over 30 years. She has been on over 100 retreats with many of the great teachers of our time including: the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, James Finley, and Caroline Myss.
