Chicago has scored 47 runs in this four-game winning streak, the most in a fourgame stretch by the Cubs since scoring 50 runs, September 11-14, 1935 the +31 run differential in this four-game winning streak is their best in a four-game span since outscoring opponents 41-9 (+32) from April 19-22, 2008. Including yesterday s seven-run sixth inning, the Cubs have plated a season-high seven runs in an inning six times moreover, Chicago has scored five or more runs in an inning 21 times this season, the most by the franchise since doing so 26 times in 2008. COMEBACK KIDS: Chicago has won each of its last four games by five-or-more runs, coming from behind in each contest Elias notes that the Cubs are the first major league team in the last 86 years to win four-straight games by at least five runs, despite trailing at some point in each game the feat was previously done by the 1931 New York Yankees, who recorded such wins over the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics. BREAKING UP: The Cubs have a 38-21 (.644) record since the All-Star Break, the second-best mark in baseball and trailing only the Indians (44-17,.721).
