WELCOME TO 2018/2019 SEASON WELCOME TO 2018/2019 SEASON SCHUSSING INTO WINTER WONDERLAND UPLIFTING UPDATES Welcome Back to the Slopes We hope everyone had a great summer and enjoyed the fantastic weather; maybe you even enjoyed Paddy s Walk, the summer Wednesday member s hill walks. We would also extend a snowy welcome to all our new members. Remember as a member you can avail of discounted lessons. It takes a lot of work on the off season to keep the club running. Even the wax and racing rooms are spick and span (thanks Roisin). To compliment the fresh slopes; our 2018 new club skis have arrived, are set up, and ready for use. Thanks a million to everybody involved. Lessons are starting back In the meantime, lessons are now in full swing with the instructors all having completed their refresher training weekend - learning the latest techniques in the industry; we would like to sincerely thank all of them for their time which they so generously give to the club, without them there would be no club. Well, the season is starting to kick off again. The club and slope, with lots of fresh new Dendex, are in good shape after all the hard effort put in by many members who have worked over the summer break. Thank you to all who toiled under the hot sun. This club can t run without its volunteers. We could not have such a great facility without everyone s amazing input, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say it is much appreciated. New Developments One exciting development is the implementation of the new online booking being introduced on a phased basis. This is now kicking off thanks to the hard work of the office team. Hopefully this will contribute to the smooth running of all our classes this year..
