Entry: The fee for entry in each event shall be for Cadets, Rookies, Juniors, and Seniors $85.00. Cash or cheque we have no efpos. The SERIES ENTRY FEE is $60.00 and this will provide you with a promotional bag (shirt, hat, and products etc.) and also entitles you to be put into the draw for the raffle. The date and time for close of entry shall be: Round 1: Saturday 26 April 2014 11.30am Round 2: Saturday 28 June 2014 11.30am Round 3: Saturday 23 August 2014 11.30am (1) All rounds will qualify for MVKC Club Championship. (2) The series entrants will qualify for the Major Prize Draws but must be PRESENT at each round. (3) All rounds will count towards final point score. Minimum licence requirement is Grade D Provisional, subject to class licence restrictions. Any part of the meeting that is run under lights it is a requirement that a CLEAR VISOR MUST BE USED 8. Minimum Entries; The minimum number of entries per class shall be five (5) if insufficient entries are received for a class, classes may be cancelled or combined at the discretion of the Organiser. 9. Format of ROUNDS 1 AND 3: SATURDAY. Heats 1-2-3 Clockwise normal track 10 laps. Clockwise under lights on short track 16 laps. Page 2 of 5
SUNDAY Heat 5 Anti-clockwise normal track 10 laps. Pre Final and Final Anti-clockwise normal track 12 laps. ROUND 2; SATURDAY Heats 1-2-3 Anti-clockwise normal track 10 laps Anti-clockwise under lights on short track 16 laps. SUNDAY Heat 5 Clockwise normal track 10 laps Pre Final and Final Clockwise normal track 12 laps Competitors must complete a FULL ROLLDOWN LAP AFTER THE CHEQURED FLAG is PRESENTED. The winner of the event will be determined by FINAL ONLY COUNTS Cadets, Rookies, Juniors & Seniors Heats 1-2-3-and 5 10 laps 16 laps Pre final and Final 12 laps Track Cut Through whilst racing on long circuit Must Not Be Used Unless Directed By an Official to Do so. Timed Qualifying; One (1) x Six (6) minute qualifying session [as per rule 16.05(c)], timing to start when 1 st kart crosses timing loop after Two (2) Carby Session Laps. Six minute qualifying starts with GREEN light. The Chequered Flag will signal the end of the qualifying session. HEATS ONE TWO, THREE, FOUR and FIVE. Grid positions from qualifying fastest time to Grid Position One and so on to be run over a distance 10 Laps. Except for heat 4 which is 16 laps. PRE FINAL: Lowest points from heats1,2,3,4 and5. Grid Position One and so on to be run over a distance of 12 Laps FINAL: The finishing order from PREFINAL to Grid Position One, and so on. To be run over a distance of 12 laps. Finishing order of the final determines the winning positions in each class. Point Score System for Heats : Points allocation for Heats: shall be 1 st place =0, 2nd place=2, 3 rd place =3 points etc. A DNS or DNF shall result in points added equal to the number of entries in that class plus one (1). Page 4 of 5 If a competitor does not record a qualifying time, they will be placed at the rear of the grid for Heats 1,2,3,4 and 5. If number of entries exceeds track density of short track then those classes will be split to comply with track density. 10. Sunday 27 April 2014 Sunday 29 June 2014 Sunday 24 August 2014 11: Prizes: Non series entrants will be entitled to trophies on the day of each round, but not series Trophies and prizes Trophies will be awarded 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd places in each class with a minimum of five 5) entries Awards for less than five entries will be determined by the Organisers. Entrants may drop Rounds 1 or 2.Ten bonus points will be awarded for each round raced to a maximum of 30 points. Allocation of points for each round will be as points table on Club website. Tickets for Major prize will issued with entry at each round. Rounds 1 and 2 Major prizes will be a Fast Track Race Experience at Sydney Motor Sport Park. Round 3 Major prize will be a go kart of the winners class. The winning entries from the first 2 draws will be put back into the draw for the go kart.
All draw winners must be PRESENT at each draw to collect the prizes. SERIES WINNERS; Trophies will be awarded to 1 st 2 nd and 3rd place in each class with a minimum of 5 entries. The winner of each class will be determined by points from each heat raced in the three race series. The overall series winners of each class will receive a set of tyres for each class they raced in. 12: Mechanical Breakdown Lane; A mechanical breakdown lane will not be in use. 13: Historic Kart Demonstrations; A Historic Kart track demonstration will not be conducted at this meeting per Chapter 47. 14: Camping & Accommodation; Camping is most welcome at Wingham Sporting Complex. Camping is not permitted in the pit area, only in the official camping area please camp within the marked areas and any club official will only to please to direct you to a suitable location. There is to be no fires the pit area. Plenty local accommodation including motels B&B caravan parks & hotels.
