Our Mission: Through interfaith cooperation, the PCRC addresses the basic human needs of persons within the Greater Pottstown community, while assisting with their spiritual and social needs. Our programs and referrals are coordinated to help individuals make real progress in moving from dependence to productive self-sufficiency. Programs and Services We Offer Incorporated in 1971, the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities was formed to cooperatively address the basic needs of persons within the Pottstown and surrounding communities. Our current services include: A Food Pantry Program, providing food and infant formula to households meeting the Federal poverty guidelines. A Community Meals Program, providing three lunch and two dinner sessions weekly. A Dry Goods Program, providing clothing, household and personal care items. Financial Assistance and Supportive Services Programs, providing emergency assistance, referrals, education and support to help individuals and families achieve productive self-sufficiency. The latter function is significantly addressed by the Understanding Poverty to Plan and Persevere (UP3) Initiative which is a supportive, educational framework designed for persons living in poverty, who want to investigate how poverty effects them, stablish a plan to build resources, and successfully make their way out of poverty, if they choose. Housing Resource Center, providing case management services and support in finding safe, affordable housing for individuals and families facing homelessness. You might be surprised to know: An average of 55 individuals rely on the hot meals we offer five days a week. An average of 662 families seek food support through our pantry program and are provided groceries each month. Children comprise one-third of the total population we serve. While we serve over 17,000 individuals in our programs each year, two-thirds of that work is done by volunteers, helping us to maximize the financial resources we receive for use in programs. 100% of your contributions remain here at the PCRC, helping people in this community.

For an entry fee of $25.00 (per ball), participants will be entered into the Golf Ball Drop Contest to take place at a designated area at Brookside Country Club. Participants select a number for their golf ball(s) from 1-200 based on number of balls purchased. Participants may enter multiple times. All sold golf balls will be placed randomly in a large container and dropped from above onto a specially designed green containing a target hole. The winner will be determined by the following: 1) If multiple balls go in the hole, all balls in the hole will be dropped again and the process will be repeated until a clear winner is determined. 2) If no balls go in the hole, then the first purchased ball landing closest to the hole will be determined the winner. If there is a dispute regarding which ball is the closest, the winner will be determined by the directors of the PCRC Golf Committee who will conduct a straight-line measurement from the center of the hole. 3) The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Based on 100% ball sales: 1st prize $1,250.00, 2nd prize $750.00 and 3rd prize $500.00. Make Checks Payable to: Pottstown Cluster Mail to: PCRC Ball Drop 57 N.
