Page 3 of 8 1 CORPORATE INFORMATION 1.1 Background 1.1.1 The Company is a well-established, Bucharest-based architectural and technical support services practice, founded in 1991. 1.1.2 Registration The company has its registered offices at 152, Ciresoaia Street, Sector 1, Bucharest and is registered with the Romanian Trade Office under unique code 9481749; the current office activities are carried out at 15, Av. Nicolae Drossu Street, Sector 1, Bucharest. 1.2 Professional Standards The Company works to the highest professional standards, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Royal Institute of British Architects, and the Romanian Order of Architects. 1.3 Company Management The Company is under full time UK expat and Romanian management, with locally employed specialist professional staff. 1.4 Company Staff The company employs a variety of State Approved Expert specialist staff, either on direct or collaboration contracts covering all aspects of construction related activities. 1.5 Quality Assurance B2IC have always undertaken all professional services in accordance with RIBA and RICS standards, and have adopted the management standards required for ISO 9002 certification as well as maintaining their own Quality Manual. 1.6 Fees 1.6.1 B2IC fees are charged on a competitive basis in accordance with a pre-agreed fixed or percentage fee basis. 1.6.2 The level of fees charged is dependent upon the complexity and scope of the services to be undertaken. 2 RANGE OF SERVICES The Company provides specialist, professional, construction-related services to both foreign and Romanian based clients; such services include the following: Site Verification Studies and Feasibility Studies Preliminary Budget Costs and Elemental Technical Task Schedule Outline Technical Permitting (CU, PUZ/PUD as required) Concept Design (Architectural and Engineering) Updated Budget Costs and Task Schedule Scheme Design (Architectural and Engineering) Technical Design for Building Permit (Romanian and English) Expedition of Technical Permits/Building Permit Technical Design for Procurement Tender Analysis and Construction Contract Documentation Construction Management Cost Management Remedy of Defects Occupation Permitting Compilation of the Technical Book
