Pressure switch BGA pumps are equipped with a sealing system with double tandem mechanical seals with intermediate oil chamber, connected to an oil reservoir. The plug of the reservoir includes a special vent valve. In normal conditions, the reservoir is always at atmospheric pressure. In case of leak from the internal mechanical seal, the flow of liquid makes the vent valve to close putting under pressure the reservoir. This way, by means of a gauge and a pressure switch we can have an immediate detection of the problem without spillage of product. BGD NEW SELF-PRIMING PUMPS FOR LPG Exclusive features of BGD series: This pump is an absolute breakthrough in the field of self-priming LPG pumps. It is a multi-stage pump that operates according to a new principle. It consists of a set of side channel type stages with star impeller to which a special volumetric self-priming stage is connected on the suction side. The result is a pump with a much higher suction capacity than any other existing pump. In normal conditions, priming time is reduced by one third, thus eliminating downtimes in product delivery. In particular conditions, such as: > Crityical systems because of high suction gradient or with vertical tank; > Systems affected by periodic pumping problems due to climate or the product pumped. In all these cases, the BGD pump solves the problem, guaranteeing regular functioning. The highly-efficient volumetric self-priming stage guarantees fast, trouble-free suction of the gaseous phase of the product which is always present in the pipes at any start of the pump. So the pump does not require any external degassing device, thereby simplifying the system and reducing the related costs.

BGD NEW SELF-PRIMING PUMPS FOR LPG With regard to safety, the pump is fitted with an anti-spillage system that makes it possible to monitor any leak from the mechanical seal without product spillage, thereby eliminating one of the major risk of LPG plants. Another unique feature of this pump is that each element is sealed using O-Ring gaskets where other pumps adopt flat gaskets and sealing glue. The O-Ring guarantees perfect seal and, above all, fast, easy pump disassembly and re-assembly. This close coupled pump is fitted with bell housing and drive coupling which guarantees simple, safe connection to the electric motor. The Series SB/F Pumping Units are the result of a refined and innovative project that has led to significant product development and establishes a new standard in the field of submersible motor pumps for fuel. Detailed tests regarding performance and characteristics of the Motor Pump, the Discharge Head and the relative Leak Detector Valve VRF 4, confirm that the Series SB/F Pumping Units are unique in that each individual component is of the highest standard and, in some case, these are decidedly innovative.

A robust stainless steel jacket houses the motor pump. The internal parts can be reached easily and quickly, seal is always perfect and maintenance times are drastically reduced. A large basket strainer protects head parts and all components situated downstream of the pump against impurities. This is obviously of great advantage to overall system management, where liquid impurities are one of the main causes of problems. The outlet is directed in a downward position and is equipped with a flange with O-ring seal. This system enables simple connection to underground piping, even in confined spaces, and guarantees problem-free seal. The equipment also copries a vent screw for a manual pressure relief, extremely useful to bleed to zero head and line pressure, preventing products during maintenance operations.

As regards this function, the valve is characterized by the test execution time, (less tha 5 sec) and the large internal capacity, capable of compensating the product's thermal volume changes. The valve also has a built in Venturi System in the cap together with the relative suction and discharge connections. The Venturi enables the valve to execute siphon priming in order to empty two or more tanks using the same pump. When the pump stops, the valve adjusts the head pressure for the Unit, limiting it approximately 0,7 bar, by means of the Venturi discharge. The valve also performs an effective air bleeding function. Each time the pump is activated, any air present in the discharge head is bled within a few seconds by means of the Venturi System discharge, thus ensuring delivery of a degassed product. series T / TFL GEAR PUMPS FOR OILS Exclusive features of gear pumps: T series gear pumps are positive-displacement self-priming pumps, suitable for conveying any type of clean and chemically non-aggressive liquid, as long as it has some lubricating properties. By choosing a suitable rotation speed, they can also be used for conveying highly viscous fluids. They have helical gears to ensure low noise and pulsation levels. Rational design and generous dimensioning of the parts make these pumps especially robust, reliable and free of servicing problems. Looking the drive-shaft, direction of rotation is clockwise and flow goes from left (suction) to right (discharge). Anticlockwise rotation can be supplied on request. Relief-valve: To avoid dangerous over-pressures, pump can be equipped with an integral relief-valve of inside-recycling type or externalrelease type. The integral relief-valve must work occasionally and for short periods; when continuous pressure regulation is required, another relief-valve has to be installed on the delivery pipe.
