Trainingbibs for use Friday During the training session Friday from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM all biathlon athletes have to wear training bibs to get admittance to the shooting range. The training bibs will be handed out outside the tunnel near shooting lane 1 from 8.45 AM. Trigger weight control at the same time as training bibs will be handed d out. All athletes have to return the training bibs at the safety check conducted d by an official, i the same place they were handed d out after training before 11.05. The courses will be closed for all athletes except for the cross The courses will be closed for all athletes except for the cross country competitors from 11.00 because of the cross country competitions.
Accreditation Accreditation ti with colour code and admittance zones. For admittance to the competition course, the warming up course and the ski testing area you have to ware starting bib, or coach bib. There will be a limited number of coach bibs to the coaches. The coach bibs will be handed out to you after the Teamcaptains`meeting. Only coaches with coaching bibs are allowed to coach from the coaching zones inside the course fences. Athletes who are using the warming up course have to ware their starting bibs outside the warming up clothes.
8.5.2.1 Safety Check on the Range after Shooting After each shooting bout the rifle must be unloaded that is, no round may be left in the chamber or in the inserted magazine. However, it is permitted to leave the cartridge case in the chamber and the empty magazine in the rifle after the last shot. At the end of training and/or zeroing sessions, the competitor must perform a safety check before leaving the shooting range by opening the bolt and removing the inserted magazine, a with the barrel pointed toward the target or upward. Range officials will do the safety check and mark out the athletes starting number on the starting list.
