This bulletin will give you some additional information to Bulletin n 1 published last April. The event is organised according to the International School Sport Federation s competition rules (ISF) and approved by the International Floorball Federation (IFF). GENERAL INFORMATION - REMINDER 1.1. Participation and composition of teams Are eligible to participate: youngsters (girls and boys) born in 1990, 1991 and 1992. Each country can enter one girls team and one boys team. 1.2. Conditions of Participation 1.2.1. Only school teams can enter this Championship. All players must attend the same school and this, since the beginning of the school year 2006 / 2007. 1.2.3. The number of participating teams is limited to 28 : 16 boys teams and 12 girls teams. 1.3. Delegation s members 1.3.1 Each team will consist of minimum 12 players (10 players+2 goalkeepers) or of maximum 19 players (17 players + 2 goalkeepers) and a maximum of 3 adults for each team ( 1 teacher, 1 trainer, 1 referee.) 1.3.2 A delegation with one team has to appoint one referee (international IFF - or national level). A delegation with two teams (1 girls team and 1 boys team), should appoint one pair of referees (international or national level). 1.3.3 If a delegation arrives without a referee (1 team) or without a pair of referees (2 teams), a fine of 864 euros will have to be paid. In case the number of referees sent by the participating countries would be insufficient, the Czech Floorball Union will provide officials to the organisers, necessary for the good course of the championship. 1.3.4. Each country will nominate a head of delegation, who will be responsible for the team(s). In case a country has only one team, the delegation of this country may consist of 22 persons maximum. If 2 teams (boys and girls) take part, the delegation may consist of 44 persons maximum. 2. THE DRAW The draw will take place in February 2007 during an Organising Committee Meeting. If after the draw, one or more teams withdraw from the competition, the Organising Committee ISF Floorball 2007 can modify the draw to balance the number of teams in each group in accordance with IFF rules. The Organising Committee will immediately publish the result of the draw on the ISF website and afterwards, if necessary, any changes that may occur.
3. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP S RULES Mixed teams are forbidden. All teams and players commit themselves to play against any other team and players according to the program fixed by the organisation and to participate in the cultural and social events. Games will be played according to the actual IFF rules. Games will last 3 x 12 minutes Games will be played with a ball according to the IFF rules. Each match will be refereed by two international or national referees. 4. GAMES For the 1 st round, the registered teams will be placed in pools of 3 or 4 teams, for each category. At the end of the 1st round, direct elimination matches, according to a pre-set scheme. 5. PRIZES AND DIPLOMAS Each player will receive a participation diploma. The first, second and third teams will receive medals. 6. REGISTRATION and PAYMENT 6.1. The participation has to be confirmed with this bulletin N 2. Therefore the final application form enclosed has to be returned to the Organising Committee before 15 th January 2007. 6.2. You will have to send in the detailed form with the names of all players and officials before 3 rd April 2007. This form will be enclosed in bulletin N 3. 6.3. 7. INFORMATION REGARDING THE STAY 7.1. Place The city of Brno in Czech Republic, in the SOUTH-EAST region (www.brno.cz) is 220 kilometres away from PRAGUE. 7.2. Competition dates From Thursday 3 rd to Thursday 10 th of May 2007. 7.3. General information about welcoming Arrival of delegations : Thursday 3 th May 2007. Departure of delegations : Thursday 10 th May 2007. The Organising Committee will ensure the transport for all delegations from the International Airport of Brno (connections via Munich and London) or Prague to the accommodation and return and during the whole period of the competition (3 rd 10 th May 2007) to the competition sites. 7.4. 7.5. Meals On the arrival day : dinner or lunch ( according to arrival time ). Others days : breakfast lunch dinner. Departure day : breakfast or (packed) lunch ( according to departure time ). 7.6. Accommodation The participants will be accommodated in 3 to 4 bedded rooms. Coaches and referees will be accommodated in 2 bedded rooms. The ISF delegate, and the heads of delegation will be accommodated in single rooms. 7.7. Transport and accommodation costs 7.7.1. Transport from home to Brno or Prague airport or railway station and return have to be organised by the participating countries. The cost of travel is the responsibility of the participants. 7.7.2. The participation costs fixed by the ISF amount to 40,00 ( ) per night and per person. (from countries which are not full or associate members of ISF to 50,00 ) ( ) 7.7.3. The payment for every person in addition to the official delegation will be 103,00 per night, except for the driver of delegations travelling by bus who will be charged 40,00. ( ) 7.7.4. The participation fees per day and per participant from a country in arrears with the payment of the ISF annual fee will cost 50,00 7.7.5. A deposit of 80,00 ( ) (per participant and for 2 days) will have to be paid to the organisers before 15th January 2007. (per participant from countries which are not full or associate members of ISF to 100,00 ) ( ) 7.7.6. A participation of 20, 00 ( ) to the ISF per delegation member will be asked on the registration day. 7.7.7 When the distance between Brno and the capital of a participating country from another continent exceeds 5000 km, the delegation has the right to arrive one day earlier at the normal rate of 40,00.( ) ( ) Decision of ISF Executive Committee. Athens June 2006. 7.8. Certification All players must provide proof that they are officially registered in the school. They have to present a school certificate with school stamp signed by the headmaster. Each participant will have to present his/her passport or identity card at the Control Commission. The Control Commission will validate the participation in the competition. 7.9. Insurance All participants must be insured by their country for the whole duration of their stay in Czech Republic. 8. DEPOSIT 8.1. Each participating country must pay a deposit to confirm its participation : - 1280 ( ) for 1 team and 16 persons (10 players + 2 goalkeepers+ 2 team leaders + 1 referee + 1 head of delegation).
- 2480 ( ) for 2 teams and 31 persons ( 12 players + 2 team leaders for girls team + 12 players + 2 team leaders for boys team + 2 referees + 1 head of delegation ). This sum will be deducted from the total amount due, on arrival in Brno. This deposit is only refundable if the delegation that is absent from the championship has informed the organisers before the draw in February 2007. ( )Decision of ISF Executive Committee. The application form (enclosed in this bulletin) must be fully completed and signed by the National School Sport Organisation and returned to the organiser as soon as possible, but at the latest by 15 th January 2007. 9.2. If making the payment of the deposit by bank transfer, please send a photocopy of the transfer document together with the relevant bank details. 9.3. PARTICIPATION Each member of the delegation will receive an accreditation card with passport photo provided by the control commission. The signature of the President of the control commission will make this card valid. The passport photos have to be added to the form in bulletin N 3. 11. DELEGATIONS OBLIGATIONS 11.1. Each delegation must be insured against material damage and personal liability. 11.2. Each participant must present to the control commission a passport or valid ID card with a photo. 11.3. Only teams that have attended the opening ceremony, the medal presentation and closing ceremony as well as the cultural program will be ranked. 11.4. The presence of each participant during the whole duration of the event is compulsory. 11.5. Each participant must fully take part in all socio-cultural programs.
12. DOPING Anti-doping control (use of illegal substances) is possible during the competition according to the rules of the Czech Anti-doping Committee. In case of a control, an adult may accompany the player. When a competitor is on medication, he/she must provide proof and inform the organisers on arrival.
