The 2018 Campagnolo Roma is by invitation and the Organizing Committee may decide at any time whether to accept or not the enrollment or to exclude at any time an enrolled contestant for the event that may damage the image of the event. No registrations from participants who have been sanctioned by Sporting and/or Ordinary Justice, for a period of time longer than 6 (six) months, for reasons related to doping will be accepted. Participation ex athletes Professionals and cyclists of the Elite category who have a Professional or a Continental contract or in the last 4 years are not admitted to the race. For females the same rule applies but it is limited to the last 2 years. Cyclists (male and females) with an Elite license without contract or in the last 2 years are not admitted to the race. U23 athletes can participate if they are not in the temporal conditions which do not allow the enrolment as amateurs cyclist: for the 2 years following the last membership in the category; U23 athletes with an only year of membership in the category: for 1 year following the last membership in the category. Professionals can be admitted exclusively for promotional purposes and subject to invitation by the Organizing Committee and may not take part in any way in the ranking. Participation of athletes without the ethical / former athletes requirement to limited activity agonists Those who are not in possession of the ethical requirements that are included in the "ex-athletes to limited activity agonists" posted on the website of the FCI - amateur section, provided they have a medical certificate for cycling, will start from the grid Tarquinio Prisco. Participation with pedal assisted electric bikes (e-bikes) It s allowed the participation also with e-bikes. The e-bikes are bicycles with the support of a power unit and a battery. Registration confirmation - Withdrawal race pack - Check card Each participant will receive to your e-mail address (which must necessarily be given at registration), the voucher with the number assigned to it, by 11 October. The distribution will take place exclusively at the event Village in the following days and times: Friday, October 12, 2018 from 12.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Substitutions - cancel participation It s possible to replace a participant registered only within the same team membership after sending a request via e-mail at iscrizioni@granfondoroma.com. This operation will require a secretarial contribution of 10 Euros. The deadline for the replacement is 15 September 2018. Any postponement of the date of replacement substitutions will be published on the website. If the member is unable to attend the event, the registration fee will not be refunded. Please be aware that cyclists who are overtaken by the end of race vehicle marked as fine corsa shall continue along the route of the event, maintaining both numbers. They must, however, be aware that they won t have any form of protection as the section of road they will be following will be open to traffic. Disqualifications Participants wearing the number of another cyclist or given to other participant, the start in a gate previous that assigned or other grave fact which is detected by the organization, will cause the immediate disqualification from the event and the exclusion from the classification other than a disqualification from the event from one to five years. In serious cases, disqualification may be for life. The above measures will
be adopted by the organization. Competitors who throw objects of any kind outside of allowed marked spaces will be disqualified and cannot participate the following year. Participants are asked not to throw litter on the roads, but to put it in the special containers at the refreshment points identified by a start and end of refreshments. Competitors who litter outside the marked areas will be excluded from participation the following year. Disqualifications imposed by membership organization of the participants may bring ousting from starting list at any time at the discretion of the organization. Private assistance The assistance of any kind from private vehicles following the race is strictly prohibited, under penalty of disqualification.
