Our history in the city: The Regina Community Basketball Association (RCBA) is an integral part of the sports community in Regina and this year we are very proud that we are celebrating 85 years of providing top quality basketball programming to youth in Regina and surrounding area. Our guiding principles of Fun, Fair Play and Development have helped our league to become a National leader in youth basketball. We now currently serve over 1600 families in the city. When the RCBA says that all youth have the opportunity to play, we mean it. We work with organizations, such as Dream Brokers and Kidsport, to help children who might not otherwise be able to afford to play sports. We also have a wheelchair basketball program for youth with limited physical mobility. The RCBA also works with the Regina Open Door Society so families who are new to the city know our programs welcome all members of our community. In order to continue to offer quality basketball to the families of Regina and surrounding area, at an accessible cost, the RCBA is offering great sponsorship opportunities for our 2016/2017 season. This is a chance for those of you who have benefited in the past from the RCBA, directly or indirectly, to help us positively impact the lives of today s youth. A Message from the President of the Board: This is an exciting time for the RCBA as the basketball community continues to grow both across Canada and in Regina. Our Canadian talent continues to be recognized on the world stage with medal wins for both the Men s and Women s teams at the Pan Am games and the Women s team winning a spot to 2016 Olympics in Rio. We ve also seen 2 Canadian players being chosen as #1 picks of the NBA draft. and we have a strong contingent of players on both NBA and WNBA rosters. Locally the RCBA has grown its program to reach Regina youth through our 3-on-3 Winter Classic and 3-on-3 Spring League. This year we re also proud to be partnering with the University of Regina to offer a Jr. Cougar program for kids in kindergarten. By joining us as sponsor you will be reaching over 3000 players, coaches, referees, and spectators in Regina. Your sponsorship allows us to offer an exceptional basketball experience to all of our participants while still allowing us keep user costs low. Fall/Winter Program Premier As our Premier sponsor you would receive: Gym Sponsorship: Company s logo placed at the gym entrance as sponsor for one gym location in each of our Jr Cougar and Steve Nash programs. These programs run for 12 weeks and have more than 300 participants registered. Uniform Sponsorship: Company s logo placed on uniforms used in the grade 4-12 divisions (approximately 1000 uniforms). Program runs for 18 weeks Ball Sponsorship: Company s logo placed on special order basketballs provided to all players in grade 3-6 (approximately 500 balls), that the players keep at the end of the season. Advertising: 4 weeks of free ad space on our website advertisement banner. Additional Recognition: Company logo added to our sponsorship logo rotator, which is featured on every page of our website. Our website receives an average of 15000 hits monthly.
Fall/Winter Program Gold Your Commitment: $5000 As our Gold sponsor you would receive: Medal Sponsorship: Medals are provided in grade 5-12 and are handed out for A side champions and finalists as well as B side champions and finalists. This equates to over 600 medals that would have your company s logo on them. Coaches Appreciation Sponsorship: Your company s logo would be included on all shirts that coaches receive at the beginning of the season. Your company would also sponsor our coaches appreciations night. That would include your company s logo on all communications for this event as well as having a banner on site during the event. More than 250 coaches are invited to and this year all our coaches will receive tickets to a U of R cougars game night where supper and beverages are provided. Team Photos Sponsorship: Your company s logo placed on team photos. Approximately 400 photo packages are purchased by members every year. Continued

Fall/Winter Program Silver Your Commitment: $2500 As our Silver sponsor you would receive: Sportsmanship Award Sponsorship: Your company s logo would be featured on the sportsmanship page of our site. Each player on the winning team will receive a t shirt with your company logo on it, which is presented at half time of their first playoff game. A company representative has the option of handing out the prizes at these games. The sportsmanship award is given to 1 team in each of the 5 participating divisions. Sportsmanship scores are tracked weekly on our website, based on a set of criteria given out at the beginning of the season. Evaluation Gym Sponsorship: Your company s logo at the gym entrances during all evaluation days and locations. More than 800 players from grades 5-12 attend evaluation events in September and November. Grade 3 Tshirt Sponsorship: Your company s logo on tshirts the grade 3 division receives. There are approximately 200 players in this division Tournament Sponsorship: Your company s logo at the gyms of our grade 4 OR high school opening tournaments. The grade 4 tournie features 3 gyms and 160 players, 30 coaches, and numerous spectators and takes place on October 31st. The high school tournie features 2 gyms and 140 players in grade 9-12 for a weekend event on December 11-13. Advertising: 1 week of free ad space on our website advertisement banner. Additional Recognition: Company s logo added to our sponsorship logo rotator, which is featured on every page of our website.
Fall/Winter Program Bronze Your Commitment: $1,500 ( 2 Bronze packages available) As our Bronze sponsor you would receive: Gym Sponsorship: Your company s logo placed at the entrance of 2 game gyms. Each gym hosts 14 weeks of games, and will have teams rotating through on a weekly basis, with a minimum of 4 games per week. New Player Clinic Sponsorship: Your company s logo will be placed at the gym entrance of our grade 5 & 6 new player clinics. We host 4 boys and 4 girls clinics between September and December for any new players in the league in our grade 5 & 6 divisions. These sessions last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Any league communications about the clinics will feature recognition for your company s support. Grade 7 & 8 Player Development Clinic Sponsorship: Your company s logo will be placed at the gym entrance of our grade 7 & 8 player development clinics. We host 4-5 boys and 4-5 girls clinics between October and January for any players in our grade 7 & 8 Pool 1 and Pool 2 programs, who are looking to further develop their skills in order to make high school or provincial teams. We bring in experienced high school and/or provincial coaches to offer this training. Any league communications about the clinics will feature recognition for your company s support. 3 on 3 Winter Classic Last year the RCBA was proud to host the 3rd annual 3 on 3 Winter Classic. We can t wait to heat up the cold Regina winter again, but this year, we ll do it bigger and better. This tournament provides one more avenue for our athletes to play basketball beyond the traditional 5 on 5 fall/winter program. Set to occur during the school winter break, players within Regina and surrounding area in Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7/8, and Grade 9 & 10 divisions will register with their friends in teams of 3-5, with one coach. Teams will enjoy a fun atmosphere with shoot-out contests, concession, announcers, and great prizes throughout the event. Tournament Sponsor -$800 As our Tournament Sponsor you would receive: Your logo on the 3 on 3 Winter Classic information web page. Your logo on signage at the event. Your logo will be included on t-shirts received by all tournament participants. Your company s name/logo promoted on RCBA social media pre and post event. Recognition at tournament includes: thanked in announcements a minimum of 10 times throughout the tournament. Awards Sponsor-$300 As our Awards Sponsor you would receive: Inclusion of your logo on specific prizes. Your logo on the 3 on 3 Winter Classic information web page. Recognition at the tournament includes: logo on event awards, thanked specifically during each divisions award presentations. Your company s name/logo promoted on RCBA social media pre and post event. Tournament Supporter (varies) Tournament supporters will provide gifts-in-kind towards the event, (i.e. shoot out contest prizes, player nutrition packs etc). They will receive the following benefits in return: Signage and verbal recognition at event, relative to gift-in-kind value. 3 on 3 Spring Program Tournament Sponsor -$500 3 on 3 basketball is celebrated by basketball experts around the world as a great way for youth to develop their skills in a fast paced game, and we couldn t agree more. This spring, the RCBA is excited to be host the 4th year of our 3 on 3 spring program, which will be available to youth in Regina and surrounding communities. Set to occur between April and June, youth in grades 5-8 will register with their friends in teams of 5. During the 7 week program, teams will enjoy competitive games on a weekly basis, with a weekend tournament to conclude the season. The tournament is especially exciting as we partner with other members of the Regina basketball community to put on an action-packed event with extra features like our RCBA League Legends game and skills competitions. Program Sponsor-$1500 As our Program sponsor you would receive: Your company s logo included on all participant uniforms. The program is projected to have 240 players, and uniforms are kept by participants at conclusion of the season Your company s logo placed at the entrance of 1 game gym in each division. Each gym hosts a minimum of 6 teams per week, with teams rotating facilities if more than 1 gym is used for the program. Your logo on 3 on 3 Spring Program web page and in the sponsor logo rotator from March-June. The RCBA website averages 15000 page hits per month. Your company s name/logo promoted on RCBA social media weekly for the duration of the program. 1 week of advertising space on our website advertisement banner during the program. In addition to the recognition specific to each opportunity, all sponsoring organizations for the 2016/2017 programming will have their company recognized on the RCBA sponsors page on our website, www.rcba.ca.
