Attention all students; The MVA will be offering the Maryland Learners Permit test on Saturday, April 23 rd at 12:00 noon. If you are age eligible and would like to participate in the testing process, here at Watkins Mill High School, stop by the main office for your permission slip. Juniors: Attend the College Fair with Watkins Mill on April 19 th. This is a free fieldtrip to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Hundreds of colleges will be there to talk with you about academic programs, scholarships, student life and more. Stop by the College/Career Center to pick up a permission slip.
Seniors: Today, Thursday, April 7, is the deadline to turn in your completed PTSA/Booster Club Scholarship application to Mrs. Prochnow in the College/Career Center
Attention Seniors: The PTSA Booster Club Scholarship application is now available in the College Career Center. Complete one scholarship application to be considered for twenty different scholarships. No transcript or letters of recommendation needed. Not a PTSA member? No worries. The membership form is attached to the application. Stop by the College Career Center today to pick up the packet.
Attention all students. If you are in need of SSL hours, please see Coach Adams about volunteering at the home track meets this year. Coach Adams is located in room C104 during STEP and you can sign up to volunteer at any of the four home track meets this spring.
The Students v. Staff basketball game will be Tuesday, April 19 at 7pm in the Main Gym. Any interested senior needs to sign up with Ben Bacorro. YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY! Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 for spectators. Want to win a FREE ticket to PROM?!? Come to the Students v. Staff Basketball game to try your luck at a ½ court shot.
